Famous for being the wedding venue of Jay Chou and Hannah Quinlivan, this abbey is one of Britain's few well-preserved and substantial medieval churches, built in 1069. The main tower is Norman in style, the east side is Gothic, and the facades on all four sides blend Gothic, Norman, and Victorian styles. The church's interior is modeled after Durham Cathedral. Several windows within the church are distinctive and rich in history. For over 900 years, couples have exchanged vows and entered into marriage in this church. With organ accompaniment, a choir singing hymns of love, and vows made to the sound of the church bells, is there anywhere more romantic than this?
