"Chinese Tour" Unfinished Business + Sicily 14-Day Tour

In the morning, depart for the ancient city of Civita di Bagnoregio. This ancient city is located on a hilltop and is connected to the outside world only by a narrow, long bridge. From a distance, it looks like a castle in the sky, hence it is known as [The Dying City] (public bus entry at your own expense). Afterwards, depart to visit Siena's [Piazza del Campo] and [Siena Cathedral] (exterior). Siena is one of Italy's charming medieval cities, and along with Florence, it is one of the two major ancient art cities in Tuscany, a fruitful medieval city. Check into a hotel in Siena or its surroundings that evening.

After breakfast, we will visit Florence, Xu Zhimo's 'Fei Leng Cui'. We will visit the 【Florence Cathedral】(exterior) and 【Piazza della Signoria】. Florence is located in Tuscany, Italy, in the western basin of the central Apennine Mountains, and is famous for its handicrafts. Afterwards, we will head to Pisa to visit the 【Leaning Tower of Pisa】(exterior), as well as the prosperous buildings of the medieval Mediterranean maritime city. The Cathedral Square, where these monumental buildings are clustered, is known as 【Piazza dei Miracoli】, giving a completely different feeling from other city squares in Italy. The historical buildings scattered with white marble exude a bright and lively atmosphere. We will stay overnight in Pisa or a nearby hotel.

After breakfast, depart for Italy's paradise, [Cinque Terre] (self-paid train ride into the villages). Cinque Terre is a collective name for five cliff-side villages: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. Visitors can stroll through them (due to time constraints, the guide will arrange walks in two villages as appropriate), and experience the beauty of rural Italy. Overnight stay in Milan or a hotel nearby.

After breakfast, head to Milan city for sightseeing and shopping at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the Renaissance military fortress Sforza Castle (exterior), and the masterpiece of Gothic architecture Milan Cathedral (optional activity). Afterwards, we will visit Sirmione, a charming town in northern Italy and a pearl on the shores of Lake Garda. Sirmione is a beautiful European town, vibrant with flowers, located next to the Lake Garda shoreline, bathed in sunshine, and boasting a serene and elegant environment. Check into a hotel in Venice or its surroundings for the night.

After breakfast, visit the Rimini area, then the medieval town of Assisi. This is the birthplace of the Catholic saint, Saint Francis, whose Franciscan Order has a large following worldwide, making Assisi a holy place for Catholics. Check into a hotel in Rome or its surrounding area in the evening.

Depart from Rome to visit [Pompeii] (Optional activity). Pompeii is an ancient city with a long history, located in the Campania region at the southwestern tip of the Apennine Peninsula, about 20 kilometers from the beautiful Bay of Naples. It is a summer resort with mountains behind it and the sea in front. Afterwards, we will head to Naples. Naples is a city in southern Italy, one of the scenic spots in the Mediterranean, a large port city at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, with picturesque scenery. Visit [Castel Nuovo] in the old city of Naples, the Catholic church - [Basilica of San Francesco di Paola], the residence of the King of Naples - [Royal Palace of Naples], and the art gallery named after the Italian monarch - [Galleria Umberto I]. In the evening, take a ferry from Naples pier to Palermo and stay overnight on the cruise. (The cruise is expected to depart at 20:00 and arrive in about 10 hours)

[Important Notes]

1. Due to the need for accurate guest name, gender, date of birth, and passport number information for cruise bookings, please make sure to fill in the order accurately when registering, otherwise, the booking cannot be made;
2. Choosing a single room for the entire trip does not include a single cabin. The cabins are defaulted to quadruple inside cabins, and there is a possibility of sharing a room with people of the opposite sex. If you need to upgrade, additional fees apply, as detailed in the optional activities. If the number of people for the upgrade is not met, the price difference needs to be paid.
3. Days 8 and 13 of this itinerary involve round-trip cruises to Sicily. Cruises are different from land travel and are affected by many factors such as weather, sea conditions, military control, diplomatic incidents, strikes, or cruise malfunctions. If the cruise is suspended, we will adjust the route to travel from San Giovanni, a town in southern Italy, to Messina to embark or disembark in Sicily.

In the morning, explore Palermo. Most of the main attractions are concentrated in the area northwest of the train station. Two main streets extend north: Via Roma to the east and Via Maqueda to the west. From the Quattro Canti, Via Vittorio Emanuele leads west to [Palermo Cathedral] and [Norman Palace] (optional tour). [Teatro Massimo] and [Praetorian Fountain] are also nearby. After lunch, head to Agrigento to visit [Valley of the Temples] (optional tour) and [Scala dei Turchi]. Stay overnight in Agrigento or a nearby hotel.

After breakfast, depart from the hotel to the summit of Europe's famous active volcano, 【Mount Etna】 (optional tour). We will admire the magnificent beauty of Mount Etna and the surroundings of the crater from a safe distance. Afterwards, we will head to the hotel to rest and check into a hotel in Taormina or nearby.

In the morning, depart for Cefalù, a charming seaside town in northern Sicily. Compared to Palermo, Cefalù is more delicate, maintaining its historically sculpted appearance. Arrive at the Beach of Angels (Cefalù Beach). Finally, arrive at the Port of Palermo, where you'll spend the night on a cruise ship bound for Naples.

Depart from Naples' southern pier and stop in Sorrento, renowned for its citrus groves and panoramic waterscapes, not to mention its unique pastel-colored architecture clinging to the cliffs. Enjoy the magnificent coastal scenery before heading to Rome, where the tour concludes.
