Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 (Every Sunday): Copenhagen → Jonkoping (330 km)

In the morning, we'll depart for a sightseeing tour of Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Copenhagen, the capital of the fairytale kingdom of Denmark, evokes childhood memories; the Little Mermaid statue on the seashore is based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale "The Little Mermaid," and especially after the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, it has almost become a symbol of Denmark in people's minds. The Royal Guards in front of Amalienborg Palace are also characters from Andersen's fairytale; if you're lucky, you can see the changing of the guard! Other attractions include the Andersen statue in the city's pedestrian zone, City Hall Square, and the New Harbour. After lunch, we'll head north towards Venice and Stockholm.

Attraction Introduction

Copenhagen

The oldest part of Copenhagen's inner city is often referred to as the Medieval City (Middelalderbyen). However, the most distinctive area of Copenhagen is Frederiksstaden, built during the reign of Frederick V in the 18th century. At its heart stands Amalienborg Palace, with the dome of Frederiksstaden Church and several elegant 18th-century mansions overlooking the area. Within Copenhagen's old inner city lies a small island (Slotsholmen), home to Christians Palace and Christiansport. Surrounding the historic city center is a ring of residential areas, primarily built in the late 19th century (Vesterbro, Inner Nørrebro, Inner Østerbro).

Stockholm

The main city is comprised of 14 islands and a peninsula connected by over 70 bridges. Lake Mälaren is divided into east and west sections by the Old Town; the western section is freshwater, while the eastern section, bordering the Baltic Sea, is saltwater. East of Stockholm lies an archipelago of 24,000 islands. Like Venice, Italy, it is a water town, hence its nickname "Venice of the North." Besides its beautiful scenery, it boasts a rich history and culture, classic architecture, vast green spaces, and numerous waterways, making it one of the most visited cities in Northern Europe.

Sognefjord

Located in the southern part of Sogn og Fjordane county on the west coast of Norway, it is 204 kilometers long and 1,308 meters deep, making it the longest and deepest fjord in Norway. Its branch, Nærøyfjord, is the narrowest fjord in the world and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

| Sogndal

Whether in the bustling city center or a tranquil village, whether amidst rolling mountains or magnificent glaciers, you'll find a sense of comfort and tranquility. Here stands a church dating back to the 11th century—St. Stephen's Church, said to be the oldest church in the city.
