Iseltwald, nestled on the shores of Lake Brienz, is a tranquil little lakeside village. Wooden houses are reflected in the water, with the Alps in the distance. The town is tiny, but its boardwalk and clear lake water make it a popular spot for photos. The overall atmosphere is peaceful, perfect for a short stay to enjoy the lakeside scenery.

How to Get There

You can take a bus from Interlaken Ost, which takes about 20 minutes. You can also drive there along the lakeside road. The village is relatively small and can be explored on foot from there.

Travel Tips

The lakeside boardwalk area is popular with tourists, so it's advisable to avoid the midday rush. Be careful as the lakeside ground is slippery.
