Watkins Glen State Park, located in Watkins Glen, New York, in the Finger Lakes region, is one of the most breathtaking state parks in the eastern United States. Within the park, a winding gorge extends with picturesque layered rock formations. The trail, approximately 3.2 kilometers long, features over 19 waterfalls of varying sizes throughout its length. The most iconic of these is the Gorge Trail, which passes through a cavern carved by flowing water, making it a must-visit destination for nature lovers and outdoor adventurers alike.

Travel Tips

• We recommend wearing non-slip athletic footwear, as the trails are slippery and some sections are quite steep.
