1. What is the booking process?
This product requires manual confirmation. After completing payment and submitting your information, we will verify the tour date, hotel, and related services, then send a booking confirmation email. Please do not purchase non-refundable air tickets or book other non-cancellable services before receiving the official confirmation.
2. Is there a minimum number of participants required for the tour?
This tour requires a minimum of two participants to guarantee departure. Each group will not exceed 13 people, and final availability is subject to manual confirmation.
3. What is the difference between Route A and Route B?
The first 4 days of both routes are the same, covering Thousand Islands, Montreal, Quebec City, and Ottawa. The difference lies in Day 5:
- Route A: Toronto city tour, including a Toronto film and TV tour, the Historic Distillery District, with optional self-funded ascents of the CN Tower or a Toronto boat cruise.
- Route B: Niagara Falls day trip, with optional self-funded participation in a boat cruise and Journey Behind the Falls, and visits to attractions like Niagara-on-the-Lake.
4. What information do I need to provide when booking?
Please provide the traveler's name, gender, date of birth, nationality, email address, mobile number, and accurate flight details. Passport or ID numbers are not required at the time of booking, but please bring a valid photo ID on the day of the tour.
5. How is the tour fee calculated for solo travelers?
If you wish to stay in a room alone, please select "single occupancy." This product currently does not offer a shared room service with same-gender tourmates.
6. What is included in the tour fee?
The tour fee includes team transportation, 4 nights of hotel accommodation, hotel breakfasts, and bilingual (English and Chinese) service staff for the 5-day itinerary.
Lunch, dinner, mandatory fees, optional activities, driver and guide service fees, transportation surcharges, personal expenses, and travel insurance are not included.
7. What is the group size and vehicle type?
Each group will not exceed 13 people. The actual vehicle type will be arranged based on the number of participants and operational conditions on the day of the tour. It may be a commercial van, a small touring vehicle, or another vehicle suitable for the group size. Specific vehicle types or seating cannot be guaranteed.
8. Does the tour include Toronto airport pickup?
This product does not include complimentary airport pickup. After arriving at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Day 1, travelers can take the hotel's complimentary shuttle bus to the hotel based on the final confirmed hotel information.
The meeting points, operating hours, and whether a phone reservation is required for shuttle buses vary between hotels. Please refer to the departure notice for details.
9. Can I book paid airport pickup?
Yes. Paid airport pickup service from Toronto Pearson International Airport is available from 09:00–22:00. The reference price is USD$90 or CAD$120 per car per way.
Pickup usually uses a 7-seater vehicle, accommodating a maximum of 6 passengers. Travelers will meet at a designated location after collecting their luggage and may need to wait for other guests with similar arrival times.
10. What time should I book my flight on Day 5?
Suggested flight times vary depending on the chosen route. Please confirm your route and final drop-off arrangements before purchasing tickets:
- Route A Toronto city tour: For domestic Canadian flights, please book flights departing after 20:00. For international flights, please book flights departing after 21:00.
- Route B Niagara Falls day trip: For domestic Canadian flights, please book flights departing after 21:00. For international flights, please book flights departing after 22:00.
11. Where can I leave the tour on Day 5?
The drop-off locations vary for the two routes. The detailed address and final drop-off time will be based on the booking options and confirmation slip:
- Route A options: Toronto Pearson International Airport / Toronto Chinatown / Scarborough / Markham
- Route B options: Toronto Pearson International Airport / Toronto Chinatown / Scarborough / Markham / Mississauga
12. What are the mandatory fees?
Some group activities in this itinerary require additional payment beyond the basic tour fee. Ticket content and prices may be subject to change. Please refer to the order page or final confirmation for details:
- Quebec Old Town tour: Adults USD$33 or CAD$45; Children 3–12 years old USD$25 or CAD$35
- Route A Toronto film and TV tour: USD$30 or CAD$40 per person
- Route B Niagara deep tour: Price based on the latest information at the time of booking
13. How are driver and guide service fees calculated?
The minimum driver and guide service fee is USD$15 or CAD$20 per person per day. Children and infants occupying a seat pay according to the adult standard. The actual number of days charged will be calculated based on the chosen route and the number of days the group service is provided, as specified in the order or departure notice.
14. How are lunch and dinner arranged?
Hotel breakfast is included in the tour fee, while lunch and dinner are at your own expense. The guide will provide dining locations or restaurant suggestions daily based on the itinerary. During the trip, you can opt for Montreal French cuisine, Quebec French cuisine, or other group meals at your own expense. Arrangement and price depend on the day's itinerary.
15. How are hotel room types arranged?
Common hotel room types in Canada are one King or Queen size bed, or two Double size beds. Each room typically accommodates 2–4 people, including adults and children.
The tour fee guarantees the corresponding number of rooms but does not guarantee specific bed types, floors, views, adjacent rooms, or room locations. When three or four people share a room, existing beds in the room are usually used, and extra beds are not guaranteed.
16. Is a deposit required for hotel check-in?
Some hotels may require each group of travelers to provide a credit or debit card usable in Canada as a deposit upon check-in.
If there are no additional expenses, the deposit is usually refunded to the original payment method within 7–14 business days after check-out. The actual time depends on the hotel and the card-issuing bank. Hotel check-in time is usually after 15:00.
17. At what age do children require a car seat?
Children under 8 years old participating in the tour require a car seat. The rental fee is US$10/person/day. Please provide the child's age when booking so that car seats can be arranged and children's tickets calculated in advance. If a large tour bus that does not require car seats is used on the day, the relevant rental fee may be refunded as per regulations.
18. Is the tour suitable for travelers with limited mobility?
This itinerary involves long periods of sitting in a vehicle, walking in Quebec Old Town, and multiple outdoor attractions, so travelers need to have basic mobility.
Travelers with limited mobility, those requiring wheelchairs or other assistance, please contact us for confirmation before booking. If not notified in advance, we cannot guarantee the provision of wheelchair-accessible vehicles, suitable seating, or other special assistance.
19. Can I purchase tickets myself or use a City Pass?
No. Tickets and mandatory items required for group itineraries must be purchased uniformly as arranged by the guide. Travelers bringing their own tickets or using a City Pass as a substitute are not accepted.
20. Will the itinerary be adjusted due to weather or attraction closures?
Yes. The guide or driver may adjust the order of attractions, stopping times, meeting times, or arrange alternative attractions based on weather, road conditions, traffic, attraction opening status, and team operational needs. If the Montmorency Falls cable car, Thousand Islands cruise, Toronto cruise, or Niagara Falls boat tour are suspended, alternative activities will be arranged or relevant activities canceled based on the day's situation.
21. Is smoking allowed in hotels and vehicles?
No. Smoking is prohibited in tour vehicles and most Canadian hotel rooms. If smoking in a hotel room, a cleaning fee of at least US$250 per night or the hotel's specified amount may be charged, and such costs will be borne by the traveler.
22. Do hotels provide toiletries, slippers, and kettles?
Canadian hotels typically do not provide toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers, so please bring your own. Most hotels provide hairdryers, but not every room is guaranteed to have a kettle; if you need to use one daily, it is recommended to bring your own.
23. Are Canadian taxes required?
If choosing to pay in CAD, an additional 13% HST will be charged on the CAD tour fee for this product. The CAD prices for individual Quebec attractions or activities may already include applicable local taxes; specific details will be based on the product page and payment information.
24. Is travel insurance recommended?
Recommended. Please purchase personal travel insurance from your country of residence before departure, covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, luggage loss, and outdoor activity coverage.
25. Does this tour group have mandatory shopping?
There are no mandatory shopping arrangements. Dining, boat cruises, observation towers, waterfall experiences, and other optional activities in the itinerary are chosen according to personal preference, with the exception of mandatory fees.
