How to Get There

Leeds Castle is located in the Kent countryside in southeast England, about 65 kilometers from central London. It is approximately a 1.5-hour drive from London via the M20 motorway; a large paid car park is available near the castle entrance.

For public transport, you can take a train from London Victoria Station or St Pancras Station to Bearsted Station (about 1 hour). After exiting the station, you will need to take a local bus or taxi to the castle entrance, which takes about 10 minutes.

Since public transport around the castle is relatively limited, choosing a private car to travel directly from London or surrounding cities to Leeds Castle will save time and effort, and is especially suitable for families or small groups of travelers.

Travel Tips

Leeds Castle's opening hours vary seasonally. Generally, the castle and grounds are open daily from 10:00 AM; during the winter months (approximately January to March), the grounds are usually open until 4:00 PM, with last entry at 3:30 PM. Closing times may be longer during other seasons.
