You will also visit Bath, the only city in England that is listed as a World Heritage Site. Although Bath is not big, it has the most noble streets and the most beautiful buildings in England. The ancient Georgian buildings stand here, and the quiet Avon River flows slowly, all of which seem to tell the long history of Bath. The world-famous ancient Roman baths make people think about the glory of the ancient Roman Empire and the profound and fascinating influence of the ancient Roman era on Bath. This will be an unforgettable journey of English history.

Itinerary

Specific itinerary

Leaving the bustling London behind, head west.

Arriving in Bath, you'll wonder what Britain would have been like if the Romans had never visited. Your guide will take you on a stroll through the streets of Bath, where Georgian architecture blends effortlessly with ancient Roman artefacts.

Then head to Lacock, where the crumbling old lanes have been used as filming locations for Harry Potter, Downton Abbey and Pride and Prejudice. You will marvel at the ancient abbey, which has been used as a brewery, bakery or residence. The abbey was also one of the filming locations for Harry Potter's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Your adventure then continues to Avebury, where the stone monuments have fascinated tourists, historians and archaeologists for centuries and are the largest stone circle in Europe.

Uncover the mystery and history of West England on our tour of Avebury, Lacock and Bath.

Attractions

| Bath

The city has been inhabited for about 2,000 years. In 1987, the entire city was listed as a World Heritage Site. It is famous for its Georgian architecture, ancient Roman spas, and Bath Cathedral. It is a tourist destination in the UK second only to London in terms of the number of tourists. Bath is also known as the most romantic city in England. The famous British writer Jane Austen wrote the world-famous novel "Pride and Prejudice" here. This is a charming city that is well worth exploring, so we will give you plenty of time to stroll around the city.

| Lacock Village

You will go deep into the village of Lacock in Wiltshire. The winding lanes, the mixed wooden and stone architectural style and the unique slate roofs make the town quaint and beautiful. All the buildings in the town can basically be traced back to before the 18th century. Walking between the streets and alleys, you will have a feeling of time crossing. The quaint temperament of the town also made nostalgic films such as "Pride and Prejudice" and "Harry Potter" filmed here. Some scenes of "Harry Potter" were filmed in the ancient and beautiful monastery in the town.
