Built in the 12th century, the Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of Italy's most iconic landmarks. Due to unstable foundations, the tower gradually tilted, creating its unique appearance. Located in the Piazza dei Miracoli, the Leaning Tower forms an architectural complex with the Cathedral and the Baptistery. The entire site is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of Europe's most renowned buildings.
