Attraction Introduction

Alleppe, located on the northwest coast of Scotland, is an important port town in the Highlands. Built along Lochbloom Firth, the town is small but has concentrated amenities and serves as the departure point for ferries to the Outer Hebrides. The harbor and surrounding hills create a typical Highland fjord landscape, with a quiet and open atmosphere. Alleppe is often used as an overnight stop or supply point for road trips.

How to Get There

Getting to Aleppo is usually done by car or chartered vehicle, which takes about 1.5 hours from Inverness. Long-distance buses also connect to Inverness. The town is relatively compact, and the main areas can be explored on foot.

Travel Tips

As a ferry port, it experiences high passenger volume during peak season. Coastal winds are strong, and the weather can change rapidly. Advance booking of accommodations and restaurants is recommended.
