Itinerary
Day 1 (Every Tuesday): Prague → Karlovy Vary → Dresden (308 km)
After gathering, we will travel to Karlovy Vary, a historic spa town in the Czech Republic. Spasms (and drinking water springs) are found throughout the city; there are 13 main spa vents and approximately 300 smaller ones. The James Bond films *Casino Royal* and *Last Holiday* were filmed at the Grand POP Hotel (one of the most luxurious hotels in Eastern Europe) in Karlovy Vary.
After the tour, cross the border to Dresden, a historic German city renowned as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and often called the "Florence of the Elbe." Upon arrival, visit landmarks including the Dresden Cathedral (including the procession of princes), the Dresden Royal Palace (exterior view), and the Brühl Terrace.

Day 2 (Every Wednesday): Dresden → Berlin (200 km)
Depart in the morning for Berlin, the capital of Germany, a city whose history has left behind a diverse array of architectural styles. Each regime that has had Berlin as its capital has undertaken ambitious architectural projects, each contributing its own unique architectural flair to the city. Upon arrival, a tour will commence, exploring Berlin's rich cultural and architectural heritage: the Berlin TV Tower (Germany's tallest building), the Berlin Wall ruins, the Charlie checkpoint, 17th Street, the Victory Column, the New Reichstag building, the Brandenburg Gate (a symbol of Berlin and the end of division), and more. The tour leader may arrange (at your own expense) a leisurely river cruise to admire the sights of this vibrant city center.

Day 3 (Every Thursday): Berlin → Potsdam → Poznan (323 km)
This morning, you can choose to have free time in Potsdam or join a trip to Sanssouci Palace in the suburbs. Built by King Frederick II of Prussia, Sanssouci Palace and its park are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, listed as such because "the palace and park of Sanssouci Palace can be considered the Versailles of the Prussian kings," which gives an idea of its magnificence. In the afternoon, we will travel to Poznan, Poland's oldest city, passing by the world's tallest Christ the Redeemer statue (group activity) (optional, at your own expense). Poznan holds a significant place in Polish history; Bolesław I, Poland's first king, made it the first capital after unification and established Roman Catholicism as the state religion in 966. The Old Town is surrounded by colorful walls, with quaint buildings and newly built shopping streets.
Accommodation: Poznan or a nearby city | Recommended Hotel: Park Inn By Radisson Poznan **** or similar

Day 4 (Every Friday): Poznan → Warsaw (311 km)
Poland joined the European Union in 2005 and is a member of the Schengen Area. Since it is not a member of the Eurozone, the Polish złoty (PLN) is used as its currency. The journey from Poznan to Warsaw, the Polish capital, showcases a vibrant blend of old and new, with modern glass skyscrapers standing alongside historical buildings. The Warsaw itinerary includes a tour of the Old Town, rebuilt to its original appearance after the war: the Royal Castle, the Market Square filled with restaurants and bars, and the iconic Little Mermaid statue. Passing through the Warsaw Barbican and ancient city walls, you'll reach the New Town, where you can visit the former residence of Marie Curie, a two-time Nobel laureate. The tour then passes the Presidential Palace, and proceeds to the Church of the Holy Cross (which houses the heart of composer Chopin), the statue of astronomer Copernicus next to the University of Warsaw, and the Palace of Culture and Science, a landmark gifted to Poland by Stalin.
Accommodation: Warsaw or a nearby city | Suggested Hotel: Crowne Plaza Warsaw – The HUB **** or similar
Departure location and time

Day 5 (every Saturday): Warsaw → Krakow (290 km)
In the morning, depart for the Wieliczka Salt Mine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its unique and exquisite salt sculptures decorating the mine tunnels are breathtaking. This "salt" art palace receives approximately 1.5 million visitors annually. The salt mine is 327 meters deep and over 287 kilometers long. It contains rooms, chapels, and underground lakes, resembling an underground city. After the visit, proceed to Krakow, a major tourist city in Poland and the country's second-largest city, which served as the capital for 500 years. It preserves many exquisite historical sites and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, visit landmarks in the Old Town: the Basilica of Our Lady, Market Square, the Textile House, the City Hall Clock Tower, and St. Adler's Church.

Day 6 (Every Sunday): Krakow → Auschwitz → Brno (335 km)
The first stop on the itinerary is the Auschwitz-II-Birkenau Memorial Hall, specifically the exterior of Camp 2. This place is steeped in tragic events, forever reminding us of a bloody chapter in history. Next, we drive to Camp 1, where we can optionally visit with an official guided tour, passing the "Work Brings Freedom" slogan, and seeing the place where countless Jews entered with hope but never left. Afterwards, we cross the border to Brno, the Czech Republic's second-largest city, and visit the iconic Plague Column and fountain in Freedom Square. Hidden near the bustling Cabbage Square are alleyways leading to the Kapučin crypts. The square is surrounded by numerous restaurants and cafes; grab a coffee and leisurely experience the daily life of the locals.

Day 7 (Every Monday): Brno → Cesky Krumlov → Prague (420 km)
Kurenlov, a UNESCO World Heritage town in Český Krumlov, is captivating with its fairytale-like charm. Existing since the 13th century, Kurenlov's cobblestone streets and city towers are its most striking landmarks. It's a perfect place for a leisurely stroll and to experience medieval atmosphere. It boasts the second largest castle complex in the Czech Republic, with 40 palaces and towers. From the castle bridges, you can enjoy panoramic views of the old town, where the postcard-perfect red-roofed sea comes to life. After the castle, drive to Prague. If time permits, a visit to the fairytale-like Hluboka Castle (subject to road conditions) can be arranged. It is one of the three most beautiful castles in the Czech Republic. Formerly a royal castle, it is surrounded by beautiful parks and lakes, featuring elegant courtyards and exquisite palaces. Arrival in Prague is expected in the evening.
