Attraction Introduction

Trouville, located on the Normandy coast of France, is a seaside town that retains its traditional fishing port atmosphere. Compared to neighboring Deauville, it is more authentic and local. Fishing boats and yachts are moored in the harbor area, surrounded by seafood restaurants and market buildings. The beach is wide, and a coastal promenade connects the main areas. Trouville has been a resort town since the 19th century, but its overall atmosphere remains relaxed and natural, making it one of the most genuine seaside towns on the Normandy coast.

How to Get There

You can take a train from Paris Saint-Lazare to Trouville–Deauville station, which takes about 2 hours. The port area is about a 10-minute walk from the station. Driving is more convenient via the A13 motorway, and parking is available in town. Major attractions are concentrated in one area and can be explored on foot.

Travel Tips

Summer is peak tourist season, with large crowds at the port and beaches in the afternoon. The coastal winds are strong, and there is a significant temperature difference between day and night. Restaurants are busy on weekends, so advance reservations are recommended.
