Windsor Great Park, one of the largest Royal Parks in England, is located next to Windsor Castle and boasts a history spanning over a thousand years. Now open to the public, it's an ideal escape from the city's hustle and bustle, a perfect place to connect with nature. How to Get There

To reach Windsor Great Park, you can take a train from London Paddington or Waterloo and arrive at Windsor & Eton Central or Windsor & Eton Riverside stations, then walk into the park. Bus routes also connect to Windsor city center. Multiple parking lots are available around the park, making it relatively convenient for those driving, but parking can be limited on holidays. If you have already visited Windsor Castle, you can extend your walking tour directly into the park.

Travel Tips

Windsor Great Park is very large, so it's recommended to plan your itinerary in advance, considering your physical condition and time. You don't necessarily have to walk the entire park in one go. Spring and summer are the lushest seasons, perfect for longer stays; autumn also offers beautiful forest scenery. Some areas are unshaded, so remember sunscreen on sunny days, and the grass can be slippery on rainy days.
