Attraction Introduction

Located on Salisbury Plain in England, Stonehenge was built between 4000 and 2000 BC and is one of the world's most famous prehistoric monuments. The ring of megaliths, each nine meters high and weighing over forty tons, stands on the vast grassland, remaining an unsolved mystery in the history of human civilization. How to Get There


Stonehenge is located on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, southern England, about 140 kilometers from central London. It takes about 2–2.5 hours to drive there from London. There is an official visitor center and parking available, and a shuttle bus is required to reach the Stonehenge area.

For public transport, you can take a train from London Waterloo Station to Salisbury (about 1.5 hours), and then transfer to a local bus or taxi to reach the scenic area. Since public transport connections can be complicated, hiring a private car or using a chauffeur service included in the itinerary is the most time-efficient and comfortable option.
