Depart from Rome and head to the ancient Roman city of Pompeii, preserved by volcanic ash. In 79 AD, the eruption of Mount Vesuvius instantly froze the entire city, as if history had been encased in amber. Wandering among the ruins, temples, theaters, and frescoes are still clearly discernible, as if you can still feel the warmth of life from two millennia ago. The Temple of Venus, the Temple of Apollo, and the famous Pompeian Red frescoes recreate the prosperity and romance of ancient Roman civilization.

In the afternoon, proceed to Naples. This sun-drenched city, facing the bay, is known as the City of Sunshine and Happiness. Admire Castel dell'Ovo and the Royal Palace, stroll along the Bay of Naples, gaze at Mount Vesuvius in the distance, and feel the unique passion and vitality of Southern Italy in the Mediterranean breeze. Overnight in Naples or a nearby city.

You are free to explore the ancient city and garden landscapes, soaking in the island's romantic atmosphere. Afterwards, travel to the cliffside town of Sorrento. Today, we embark on a coastal tour along the Amalfi Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The winding mountain roads cling to the cliffs, with sheer cliffs on one side and the azure Tyrrhenian Sea on the other, offering breathtaking scenery. First, we visit the vibrant Positano, where tiered, candy-colored houses are built into the hillside, and lemon trees and the crashing waves create a quintessential Mediterranean scene. Afterwards, we travel to the historic Amalfi, once the center of a medieval maritime republic, where churches and squares silently recount the glory of the Age of Exploration. In the evening, we arrive in Salerno for our overnight stay. This city, known as the gateway to the Amalfi Coast, seamlessly blends natural beauty with a relaxed lifestyle.

In the morning, we will travel to Matera, the "Stone City." This ancient city, with thousands of years of human habitation history, is famous for its Sassi cave dwellings. Stone houses are built into the hillside, with cave churches hidden among them, forming a unique landscape of human settlements. Winding stone steps and ancient alleyways seem to transport you through layers of accumulated civilization. Afterwards, we will travel to the fairytale-like town of Alberobello. Here, the Trulli domed stone houses with white walls and gray roofs, scattered like mushrooms across the hills, are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Strolling through them feels like stepping into a dream world from an illustration. We will arrive in Bari in the evening and check into our hotel.
