1. What is the booking process?
This product requires manual confirmation. After completing payment and submitting your information, we will verify availability as soon as possible and send a booking confirmation email. Please do not purchase non-refundable air tickets or book other non-cancellable services before receiving official confirmation.
2. Is there a minimum number of participants required?
This tour requires a minimum of 2 participants to operate and is guaranteed to depart once the minimum number is met. Each group has a maximum of 13 participants.
3. What information is required for booking?
Please provide the traveler's name, gender, date of birth, nationality, email address, mobile number, and accurate flight details. This product does not require ID numbers at the time of booking, but please bring a valid photo ID on the day of the tour.
4. How is the tour fee calculated for solo travelers?
For single occupancy, please select "Single Occupancy." This product currently does not offer room-sharing services with same-gender tour mates.
5. What does the tour fee include?
The tour fee includes 5 days of transportation, 4 nights of hotel accommodation, hotel breakfast, and English/Chinese-speaking staff. Lunch, dinner, entrance fees, mandatory fees, guide service fees, and personal expenses are not included.
6. What is the group size and vehicle type?
Each group will not exceed 13 participants. The tour typically uses a 7-seater commercial vehicle or a spacious high-roof touring vehicle, equipped with winter snow tires and snow chains; the actual vehicle type will be arranged according to the number of participants.
7. Is airport pickup available at Salt Lake City Airport?
Complimentary pickup from Salt Lake City International Airport is available on Day 1 from 10:00 to 18:00, with immediate pickup upon arrival. Only one complimentary pickup service is provided per booking. Outside of the complimentary pickup hours, you can take the hotel shuttle or book a paid private transfer: 10:00–18:00: US$120/one way; 18:01–09:59 the next day: US$150/one way (The above prices apply for 4 people or less and include driver service fees.)
8. What time should I book my flight on the last day?
Please book domestic flights departing after 16:30 on Day 5, or international flights departing after 17:30.
9. What do the mandatory fees include?
The mandatory fee is US$300 per person, and includes the sleigh ride or carriage experience at the National Elk Refuge, Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, and the Yellowstone snowcoach. If the sleigh ride or carriage is suspended due to maintenance, heavy snow, or other reasons, the itinerary may be adjusted to alternative arrangements such as the Aerial Tram at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
10. Are there any other additional costs?
In addition to the basic tour fee, each traveler must also pay: Mandatory Fees: US$300, 4-day Transportation Surcharge: US$20, 5-day Guide Service Fee: US$75, Snow King Mountain snow activities: US$141 (optional).
11. What is included in the Snow King Mountain snow activities?
Reference activities include snow tubing, tram ride, and scenic mountain train ride, with a reference price of US$141 per person. The content and price of activities may be adjusted based on weather, snow conditions, and scenic area arrangements, and are subject to confirmation at the time of booking or on-site announcement.
12. Is the sleigh ride guaranteed?
Not guaranteed. The sleigh ride or carriage can be affected by snow conditions, weather, maintenance, and refuge operational status. If the activity is suspended, the itinerary will be adjusted according to actual conditions, and Grand Teton National Park or the Aerial Tram may be arranged as an alternative.
13. Which attractions will be visited in Yellowstone National Park?
The tour will enter Yellowstone National Park via snowcoach, with an estimated sightseeing duration of approximately 6 hours, and will stop at approximately 4–8 attractions depending on the day's conditions, including Old Faithful Geyser, Artists Paintpots, Madison River, and Firehole Canyon. Winter weather and road conditions can vary significantly, so the actual attractions and停留时间 (stopover time) are subject to the day's arrangements.
14. How are lunch and dinner arranged?
Lunch and dinner are at your own expense. The guide will provide dining locations or restaurant recommendations based on the daily itinerary. Hotel breakfast is included in the tour fee.
15. How are hotel room types arranged?
Common hotel room types in the United States include one King or Queen Size bed, or two Double Size beds. Each room typically accommodates 2-4 people, but specific bed types, floor, view, or room location are not guaranteed. For three or four people sharing a room, existing beds in the room are usually used, and extra beds are not guaranteed.
16. Do I need to pay a deposit for hotel check-in?
Some hotels may require travelers to pay a deposit using a credit or debit card valid in the United States. If there are no additional expenses, the deposit is usually refunded to the original payment method within 7-14 business days after checkout; the actual time depends on the hotel and the issuing bank.
17. What are the luggage restrictions?
Each traveler is limited to one piece of carry-on luggage, approximately 65cm (length) x 45cm (width) x 28cm (height) or smaller, which can be referred to as a suitcase no larger than 26 inches. Due to limited luggage space in small tour vehicles, if you need to bring extra or oversized luggage, please contact us for confirmation before booking.
18. At what age do children require a safety seat?
Children under 8 years old participating in the tour must use a safety seat, with a rental fee of US$10/person/day. Please provide the child's age when booking to allow for advance arrangements.
19. Is this suitable for travelers with limited mobility?
This itinerary involves snow, ice, and outdoor walking, so travelers need to have basic mobility. Travelers with limited mobility, requiring wheelchairs or other assistance, please contact us before booking to confirm if the vehicle and itinerary are suitable.
20. Can I purchase tickets myself or use a City Pass?
No. Tickets required for group tours must be purchased collectively according to the guide's arrangements. Travelers are not permitted to bring their own tickets or use a City Pass as a substitute.
21. Can I join midway or leave early?
If you need to join midway or leave early, please contact us for confirmation before booking. If leaving early, you must inform the guide in advance and sign an early departure agreement. Any unparticipated portions are considered voluntarily forfeited, and fees will not be refunded.
22. Will the itinerary be adjusted due to weather?
Yes. The guide or driver may adjust the order of attractions, stopover times, or arrange alternative attractions based on weather, snow conditions, road conditions, traffic, and national park operating status. Winter weather in Yellowstone and Grand Teton can vary significantly, so the final itinerary will be based on the day's safety and actual operating conditions.
23. Is smoking allowed in hotels and vehicles?
No. Smoking is prohibited in tour vehicles and most hotel rooms. If you smoke in a hotel room, you may be charged a cleaning fee of at least US$250 per night.
24. Do hotels provide toiletries and slippers?
US hotels typically do not provide toothpaste, toothbrushes, or slippers; please bring your own. Most hotels provide hair dryers; not all hotels have kettles, so if you need to use one daily, it is recommended to bring your own.
25. Can I cook in the hotel room?
No. Please do not bring or use electric burners, rice cookers, or other equipment to cook in the room, to avoid triggering smoke alarms or fire sprinkler systems, and incurring high compensation costs.
26. Is travel insurance recommended?
Recommended. We cannot purchase personal travel insurance on your behalf. Please purchase travel insurance that includes medical, trip cancellation, luggage loss, and winter activity coverage in your country of residence before departure.
27. Can credit cards be used in the US?
Most merchants accept international credit cards such as Visa and Mastercard. It is recommended to also prepare a small amount of US dollar cash for paying guide service fees, meals, tips, or other miscellaneous expenses.
28. Does this tour have mandatory shopping?
No. This product is a pure sightseeing small group tour of national parks, with no mandatory shopping arrangements in the itinerary.
