The Sólheimasandur plane wreck, located on a black sand beach on Iceland's south coast, is the remains of a crashed US military transport plane. The white fuselage starkly contrasts with the black sand, creating a powerful visual impact. The surrounding environment is vast and desolate, with a unique post-apocalyptic atmosphere. It has become one of Iceland's most iconic photography spots.
