How to Get There

Most people travel to Rannoch Swamp by car or chartered vehicle, with the common route passing through the Fort William or Glencoe area via the A82 highway. You can also take a train to Rannoch Station, but services are infrequent and require advance planning. There is virtually no public transportation connection within the area; once there, you'll primarily enjoy the scenery along the way or on short walks.

Travel Tips

The weather in Lannock Marsh is unpredictable, with strong winds and rain possible even in summer. Facilities are scarce, so it's advisable to prepare warm clothing and waterproof gear in advance. This area is primarily for sightseeing and is not suitable for long hikes or extended stays.
