Attraction Introduction

The ancient city of Civita di Bagnoregio, located in the Lazio region, is built atop a volcanic hill, a typical isolated mountain town. Due to geological erosion, the old town gradually became isolated, connected to the outside world only by a pedestrian bridge, hence its nickname "City in the Sky." The city retains its medieval streets and stone buildings, creating a tranquil and rustic atmosphere. Its unique topography and historical landscape make it one of Italy's most recognizable destinations.
