Niagara Falls gets its name from the Iroquois word meaning "Thundering Waters." It is one of the world's three largest transnational waterfalls, alongside Iguazu Falls and Victoria Falls. The falls are composed of three sections: Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls, spanning the border between Ontario, Canada, and New York, USA. Travel Tips

• It is recommended to book boat tours and Journey Behind the Falls tickets in advance, especially during peak season (July–August) when availability is very limited.

• When taking the boat tour, it is advisable to bring waterproof clothing or accept the ponchos provided on-site, as you are likely to get wet.

• Niagara Falls City is approximately a two-hour drive from Toronto, making it an ideal day trip during your Toronto itinerary.

• On clear days, you can enjoy rainbows. It is recommended to visit in the morning for the best photography lighting.
