Attraction Introduction

Cabo da Roca, located west of Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, is a landmark marking the westernmost point of mainland Europe, often described as "where the land ends and the sea begins." Here, cliffs rise approximately 140 meters high, directly facing the vast Atlantic Ocean, creating a breathtaking natural panorama with the magnificent seascape and howling sea breeze. Standing on the viewing platform, the view where the sea and sky meet is truly awe-inspiring, especially at sunset when the golden rays bathe the sea in a spectacular display, making it one of Portugal's most iconic landscapes. The area features a landmark monument (engraved with latitude and longitude coordinates), a lighthouse, and walking trails, making it a classic spot for tourists to take photos.

How to Get There

Take a train from Lisbon to Cascais, then take bus 403 to Cabo da Roca.
