How to Get There

  • Train: You can travel from London to either Windsor & Eton Central or Windsor & Eton Riverside. Both stations are around a 10-minute walk from the castle.
  • Bus: Route 702 runs from the Victoria area in London to Windsor, while Route 703 connects Heathrow Terminal 5 with Windsor town centre.
  • Walking: The castle is a short walk from Windsor town centre, with an uphill section as you approach the entrance.

Travel Tips

  • St George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays.

  • Queues can be long during peak periods, so booking tickets in advance or joining a guided tour is recommended.
