A pilgrimage to the holy sites! Must-sees include the Papal Citadel and the Pont Saint-Bénézet (Bridge of Saint-Bénézet). In the 14th century, with the support of the French king, the Roman Catholic Church moved its capital here, making Avignon the second papal capital. In the afternoon, we'll visit Gordes, the enchanting town featured in Mayer's *A Year in Provence*, also known as the Stone City. A "high-hanging village," it's also called the "Sky City" because it seems to hang in the sky. Built in the Middle Ages, the stone city is constructed from limestone slabs. After the visit, we'll head to Sénanque Abbey, stopping briefly at the Lavender Museum along the way. Sénanque Abbey is the birthplace of the Cistercian order of Catholic monasticism, the setting for *A Year in Provence*, and a landmark of Provence. (Special Note: The lavender season in Provence is generally from July to early August. Due to climate and terrain, the growing and harvesting periods for lavender vary from region to region. To ensure that tour members can enjoy the most beautiful scenery, the itinerary may be slightly adjusted to accommodate sightseeing. Lavender fields are a seasonal natural landscape; outside of lavender season, it is impossible to see the purple sea of flowers, and the itinerary will instead include a visit to the Lavender Museum.) Day 3 (Saturday): Avignon → Arles → Barcelona (500 km)

The Path of the Painting Saint! Arles, a small town famous for the genius painter Vincent van Gogh, known for both Impressionism and Expressionism, was already a major city during the Roman era. Many ancient Roman ruins remain in the city center, such as the Colosseum and the Roman amphitheater, making it a must-see for tourists. Although Van Gogh only stayed in a sanatorium here for a short year (1888-89), it was during his most creative period, when he created his famous works, including "The Pont de Langlois with the Washers" and "The Café Under the Stars." We will follow in Van Gogh's footsteps, turning back time to the very places where the master conceived and painted, allowing you to experience it firsthand! After the tour, we will head to the Spanish coastal city of Barcelona. If time permits, upon arrival, you can participate in an optional excursion to Olympic Beach (at your own expense). Day 4 (Sunday): Barcelona

The City of Two Saints! In the morning, an optional group activity will take you to the Montserrat Monastery in the mountains. This is Catalonia's most important religious site, home to the Black-faced Madonna statue holding the infant Jesus, considered the spiritual guardian of the local people. At noon, explore the vibrant and charming city of Barcelona, including the Columbus Monument and La Ramblas. Then, visit the Sagrada Familia, Barcelona's most iconic church, a masterpiece by the architectural genius Antoni Gaudí, known as the "Poet of Architecture." Afterwards, admire the exterior of Camp Nou stadium for photos and souvenir purchase. Following this, visit the Olympic Stadium on Montjuïc Hill, where the 1992 Olympic Games were held. From the hill, you can enjoy panoramic views of the city. The remaining time is free for leisure activities in the bustling Plaza de Catalunya. After dinner, return to the hotel. We departed this morning for the Grand Duchy of Andorra*. This tiny country, located on the border of France and Spain, nestled in the Pyrenees Mountains, covers a total area of 468 square kilometers. Surrounded by high mountains, its terrain is rugged, with an average altitude of 1996 meters. Its capital, Andorra City, is known as the highest capital city in Europe. This small country, often overlooked by Asian travelers, boasts stunning scenery and is a popular ski resort destination for Europeans. Thanks to its tax-free status, it's also a paradise for shoppers. In the afternoon, we traveled along the Pyrenees Mountains into France, heading towards the famous pilgrimage site of Notre Dame, Lourdes. Accommodation: Suggested hotel in Lourdes or nearby cities: Hotel Ibis Lourdes *** or similar *During the period from October to the end of February each year, due to mountainous weather and route changes, the itinerary may skip Andorra and instead proceed to Carcassonne, a UNESCO World Heritage city of art and history. Its landmark, Carcassonne Castle, was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. The castle is surrounded by 3 kilometers of double walls and 52 towers. Day 6 (Tuesday): Lourdes → Bordeaux (420 km)

In the morning, depart for Lourdes, a famous pilgrimage site dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes. Legend has it that the Virgin Mary appeared here 150 years ago, and countless medical miracles have followed. Over 5 million pilgrims visit Lourdes annually. Surrounded by mountains, the town boasts stunning natural scenery. Next, travel to Bordeaux, the world's wine capital. Visiting wineries in this wine country is an unmissable experience. The itinerary includes visits to renowned wineries, where the vast vineyards showcase Bordeaux's international winemaking status. Those with a strong interest in wine can also taste and purchase items at the wineries. Afterwards, enter Bordeaux city center and visit the Bordeaux Theatre and Place Quinconces Square. Place Quinconces Square is the second largest square in Europe and a landmark of Bordeaux. It is named for the plum blossom-shaped trees lining the square, and the towering monument in the center commemorates the Girondins who suffered during the Reign of Terror. Enjoy free time in the bustling city center. After dinner, transfer back to the hotel for rest. (Special Note: Most Bordeaux wineries are closed to tourists in August or during holidays. Day 7 (Wednesday): Bordeaux → Chambord → Paris (590 km)

We set off in the morning, driving north to the world-renowned Loire Valley. The Loire River, known as the mother river of France, is the longest river in the country, stretching 1020 kilometers. Along the valley banks lie the world-famous Loire castles, each a magnificent and beautiful sight. Around noon, we arrived at Chambord Castle, known as the "King of Castles." This castle was commissioned by King Francis I of France in 1519 as a hunting lodge to showcase his royal power and national strength. He invited artists such as Leonardo da Vinci from Italy, transplanting the brilliant art and architectural styles of the Italian Renaissance to France, laying the foundation for the French Renaissance. Chambord Castle is considered a national treasure by the French and was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1981. After the tour, we headed towards Paris, arriving in the City of Lights around 7 pm. Avignon
Located in southern France, the Papal Palace was the residence of the 14th-century Popes. Designed and decorated by Simone Martini and Matteo Giovanetti, the palace has a very rustic appearance. It overlooks the city, its surrounding walls, and the 12th-century bridge spanning the Rhône River. In the square below this Gothic building, the Petit Palais and the Romanesque Cathedral of Notre-Dame form a distinctive monument, highlighting Avignon's prominent role in 14th-century Christianized Europe.
Arles
Arles is a French city of art and history, home to many nationally protected historical sites, including the Arena de Arles, the Ancient Theatre of Arles, the Church of Saint-Tropez, and the Basilica of Our Lady of Arles, which are among the city's most iconic buildings.
Barcelona
Catalonia, the cradle of Catalan culture, has deep historical ties with France in its cultural and linguistic development. It boasts institutions of higher learning such as a Catholic university and the Catalan Medical School. The city is rich in museums, including over 20 such institutions such as the Catalan Art Museum, the Picasso Museum, the History Museum, and the Natural History Museum. It was the first city in Spain to establish a printing press and the first city in Europe to publish a newspaper. The annual Barcelona International Music Festival, held in October, is a major event in the music world. The city hosted the 25th Olympic Games in 1992. The old city center features a cathedral dating back to the 13th century, as well as medieval palaces and houses.
Andorra
Located in southwestern Europe, bordering France and Spain, on the southern slopes of the Pyrenees Mountains, it is a landlocked mountainous country between Spain and France. It shares a 57-kilometer border with France to the north and a 64-kilometer border with Spain to the south. With a total area of 468 square kilometers, it is one of Europe's many "microstates."
Lourdes
Located on the banks of the Po River (Gave de Pau) in southern France, near the Spanish border, Lourdes reaches its peak during pilgrimage, Easter, and All Saints' Day. Grand celebrations, long processions, and patients seeking miracles immerse the city in a spiritual atmosphere that is impossible to ignore. The torchlight procession, held every night at 9 pm from April to October, is Lourdes' most vibrant time. This "dreamlike" moment of sharing brings together people from all countries, speaking various languages, and representing all religions, both believers and non-believers.

In Bordeaux, historical sites can easily fill a day. The 18th-century town hall, the classically styled opera house, and the ancient cathedral are all must-see attractions. There's a distance from Place de la Bicetteval to the old town. Several radial roads extend outwards from the square, one leading to Rue Ste-Catherine. Rue Ste-Catherine is a bustling street lined with affordable shops and cafes, hosting auctions year-round. It's a long, pedestrianized street. Further down, across the street, you reach Place de la Comédie, home to the Grand Théatre, modeled after the Paris Opera. Across the street is the House of Bordeaux Wines, where you can find information about Bordeaux wines. The L'Ecole Du Vin, a wine school under the Bordeaux Wine Market Association (CIVB), offers Bordeaux wine courses ranging from several hours to several days for wine enthusiasts. Several wine region tours are also available, allowing wine lovers to enjoy sightseeing alongside their wine tastings. Besides the wine pilgrimage, Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux's most famous ancient pilgrimage town, is also not to be missed. Many travelers fall in love with the rich, ancient charm of its cobblestone streets and alleys.

Booking Information
Booking Policy
- For bookings made by minors under the age of 18 and seniors over the age of 70 (who must sign a health certificate before the tour), they must be accompanied by a healthy adult under the age of 69 and cannot make bookings alone.
- Two adults can bring one child (aged 2-11) who does not occupy a bed and will enjoy the child rate. Children over 11 years old will need a bed and will be charged the same price as adults. If one adult brings one child, the option of the child not occupying a bed or sharing a room cannot be selected; the adult will need to pay the price for two adults and stay in a separate room. If two adults bring two children, the price will be charged for four adults, and the child will stay in two rooms.
- Children of any age who require a bed pay the same price as adults.
- If you are traveling alone and require a single room, there will be a single room supplement of £60 per night. If you choose to share a room, there will be no single room supplement regardless of whether the room sharing is successful, but you need to book at least 10 days in advance.
- A continental breakfast consists of coffee, tea, juice, bread, and jam.
- Airport transfer service is available for £66.50 per person per transfer, minimum of two people. After airport pick-up, you will be transferred to the group hotel. Check-in at the group hotel is available after 3:00 PM.
- For bookings made the night before or the night of the tour's end, an additional £150 per night per room applies. Room sharing is not available. (Single travelers must pay the single room rate.)
* Shared accommodation is not applicable to hotels before or after the tour. Accommodation before and after the tour is limited to one night each on the tour start and departure dates; multi-night bookings are not possible!
* If the hotel charges a city accommodation tax, guests must pay it on-site.
* Hotels for extended stays may be located in suburban areas. If you have specific distance requirements, we recommend booking your hotel independently. For stays of 2 nights or more, please contact customer service.
Itinerary
- Please arrive at the designated departure point at least 30 minutes in advance, and close the vehicle doors 15 minutes before departure. All tours will depart on time. If a tourist does not arrive on time, the tour will be treated as a "NO SHOW," and no rescheduling or refund will be offered.
- In the event of major local events, attraction closures, or other force majeure events that cause changes to the itinerary or prevent entry to attractions, adjustments may be made or attractions may be changed to exterior views only. The final arrangements on the day shall prevail.
- The tour itinerary for the day will be determined by the driver/guide.
Cancellation Terms
Once registered, cancellation of reservations under any circumstances or for any reason will be handled according to the following terms:
- If the departure date is 16 days or more prior to departure, the remainder will be refunded after deducting a £20 handling fee.
- If the departure date is 15-8 days prior to the departure date, 50% of the total tour fee will be deducted.
- If the departure date is within 7 days, 100% of the total tour fee will be deducted.
If the visa application materials were provided by our company, cancellation will be handled according to the following terms:
- For orders placed 45 days or more prior to departure, a £100 handling fee will be deducted, and the remainder will be refunded.
- For tours departing 15-45 days prior to departure, 30% of the total tour fee will be deducted.
- If you cancel your trip 15 days before departure due to visa refusal, a £100 processing fee will be charged and the remainder will be refunded.

If I want to purchase senior citizen/student tickets at attractions, do I need to bring a valid ID on the day of the tour?
To purchase discounted tickets for seniors or students, you need to bring your identification on the day of the tour. Otherwise, you may be refused the discount ticket. -
If I am late, can the bus and tour guide wait for me?
No. The bus will strictly adhere to the boarding time. If you are not on time, it will be treated as a "no show," or you will need to make your own way to the next attraction to meet the group. Please be sure to arrive at the departure point 15 minutes in advance and find your group. -
Is a Chinese-speaking tour guide service guaranteed?
This tour is guaranteed to depart; as long as you book in advance, the tour will definitely start. -
Are there guided tours inside the attraction?
At most attractions, a guide will accompany you into the site and provide professional commentary. However, some attractions have special regulations prohibiting outside guides from entering, so you will need to enter on your own. -
Can I depart from a location other than the fixed pick-up point?
Departure is guaranteed from the fixed location. Please contact customer service if you need to depart from a different location. -
Does booking guarantee a tour departure?
This route guarantees departures throughout the year. -
How big is the group?
This is a bus tour, typically using buses with around 50 seats. The number of tour members varies depending on the season; during peak season, there may be more than 30 people, while during off-season, there are usually fewer than 30. -
How far in advance do I need to book?
To avoid disappointment, the earlier the better, especially during summer vacation. -
Where do the group members come from?
The group members are Chinese from all over the world, which is a great opportunity for you to make new friends. -
Could you provide the tour guide's or driver's phone number?
Yes, we will provide you with the tour guide's phone number at least 3 days before departure. -
Do you provide airport pick-up and drop-off services?
Please inform customer service when booking if you require airport transfer service; the price starts for 2 people. Even if you are traveling alone, you will still need to pay the price for two people. Our driver will usually pick you up from the airport to the group hotel (not other hotels). Check-in at the group hotel is after 3:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, you will need to wait in the lobby or have free time. You will also need to book accommodation for the night before or the night of the last day of the tour. Room sharing is not allowed for accommodations before or after the tour. -
I'd like to share a room. How far in advance do I need to book? Is it possible to choose a group member to share the room with?
You need to book your roommate at least 10 days in advance. Regardless of whether the roommate booking is successful, we will not charge an additional single room supplement. If you need to share a room less than 10 days in advance, a single room supplement will apply. You will be randomly assigned a roommate. Our company is not responsible for the personality, character, or behavior of any group member; please interact with each other based on mutual respect and understanding. -
What will happen if no meals are provided throughout the trip?
The tour guide will arrange meal times according to the itinerary. He will take you to local dining locations for your own meals, or you can join the tour guide for group meals (subject to the tour guide's actual arrangements).
