  • If both gondolas are closed simultaneously, the corresponding gondola fees will be refunded according to the applicable regulations at that time.
  • Johnston Canyon winter activities are affected by weather, snow depth, ice conditions, trail safety, and attraction opening status.
  • Ice cleats hiking is only arranged when on-site conditions are suitable. Guides may shorten, adjust, or cancel related activities for safety reasons.
  • Banff Upper Hot Springs is an optional activity. Participants should bring their own swimwear and towels. Rental services, locker fees, and usage rules within the attraction are subject to on-site announcements.

Itinerary Adjustments

  • The guide or driver may adjust the order of attractions, stopping times, meeting times, or vehicle arrangements based on weather, road conditions, traffic, national park opening status, and the actual situation of the group.
  • If an attraction is closed due to bad weather, road closures, holidays, maintenance, government arrangements, or other force majeure factors, it may be changed to an exterior view, replaced with an alternative attraction, or canceled.
  • During specified closure periods of Butchart Gardens, the itinerary will be changed to visit the Victoria Butterfly Gardens.
  • Winter weather and road conditions in the Rocky Mountains can vary greatly. The final attractions, activities, and stopping times will be based on safety conditions and actual arrangements on the day.

The main sightseeing content of the three itineraries is essentially the same. The difference lies in the order of arrangements for the Canadian Rockies, Victoria, and Vancouver free time, and the departure days:

  • Itinerary A: Vancouver → Canadian Rockies → Victoria → Vancouver free time (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
  • Itinerary B: Vancouver free time → Canadian Rockies → Victoria → Vancouver (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday)

The tour fee includes hotel accommodation, group transportation, and bilingual (English and Chinese) staff as listed in the 8-day, 7-night itinerary. Meals, mandatory fees, optional activities, driver and guide service fees, transportation surcharges, 5% GST, and personal expenses are not included, unless otherwise specified on the product page.

  • 23:01–06:59 (next day): First two people USD$95 or CAD$120, each additional person USD$20 or CAD$25.

Each order can accommodate a maximum of 4 people. Canadian dollar prices are subject to an additional 5% GST. Prices are subject to change and will be based on the latest information at the time of booking.

10. Can I join the Vancouver City Highlights Tour if I arrive early?

Travelers who collect their luggage and meet the pick-up staff before 12:15 PM on Day 1 can pre-book the Vancouver City Highlights Tour for an estimated cost of US$1 per person, plus the driver and guide service fees for that day. The itinerary typically includes Gastown, the Olympic Cauldron Plaza, and Canada Place, and passes through Chinatown.

If not pre-booked, participation may be allowed on-site if there is availability, with different fees charged. Actual arrangements will be confirmed on the day of the tour.

11. What flight time should I book for Day 8?

The recommended flight time depends on the activity chosen for the last day:

  • Vancouver City Day Tour: After 19:30 for domestic flights, after 20:30 for international flights.

  • Pick-up and Vancouver City Highlights Tour: USD$15 or CAD$20/person.

Children and infants occupying a seat are typically charged at adult rates. Canadian dollar prices may be subject to additional applicable taxes, as confirmed in the final booking details.

15. Does the itinerary include meals?

The basic tour fee does not include full meals. Travelers can opt for the Canadian Rockies 4-day meal package, which includes 7 meals (2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 2 dinners):

  • Adults: USD$158 or CAD$198.
  • Children 2–11 years old: USD$138 or CAD$178.

16. How are hotels and room types arranged?

The itinerary includes 7 nights of hotel accommodation, expected to be arranged near Vancouver Airport, Salmon Arm, and the Banff area. Specific hotels will be confirmed in the final booking confirmation.

Common room types in Canadian hotels are one King or Queen Size bed, or two Double Size beds. The tour fee guarantees the corresponding number of rooms, but does not guarantee bed type, floor, view, adjoining rooms, or room location. Due to high demand for hotels in the Banff area, King or twin rooms will be arranged by the hotel based on availability on the day of arrival.

17. Do I need a credit card and deposit for hotel check-in?

Some hotels may require each group of travelers to provide a credit or debit card valid in Canada as a deposit when checking in. If there are no additional expenses, the deposit is usually refunded to the original payment method within 7–14 business days after check-out. Actual timing depends on the hotel and the issuing bank.

Hotel check-in time is usually after 15:00. Travelers arriving early can inquire at the front desk about luggage storage arrangements.

18. Can children, pregnant women, and travelers with reduced mobility participate?

Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult to join the tour. Pregnant women can participate, but the pregnancy must not exceed 24 weeks on the last day of the itinerary.

Children under 8 years old require a safety seat, with a rental fee of US$10 per person per day. Please provide the child's age at the time of booking. If a large bus is used on the day that does not require a safety seat, the relevant fee may be refunded as per regulations.

This itinerary includes ice and snow surfaces, canyon walks, and winter outdoor activities. Travelers with reduced mobility, requiring wheelchairs or other assistance, please contact us for confirmation before booking.

19. Will the itinerary be adjusted due to weather or attraction closures?

Yes. The guide or driver may adjust the order of attractions, duration of stops, or arrange alternative attractions based on weather, snow accumulation, road conditions, traffic, and national park opening status.

During the closure of the Banff Sulphur Mountain Gondola, it will usually be replaced by the Lake Louise Gondola; if both gondolas are closed simultaneously, corresponding fees will be refunded as per relevant regulations. During the closure of Butchart Gardens, the itinerary will be changed to a visit to the Victoria Butterfly Gardens. The Johnston Canyon Ice Walk may also be adjusted or canceled due to trail safety conditions.
