Attraction Introduction

The Overlook at Cleary Summit, completed in 2023, is located atop Cleary Summit, northeast of Fairbanks, Alaska, and is one of the most popular aurora viewing areas in the region. Each glass house is a standalone design with 180° panoramic glass windows, offering completely unobstructed views. From inside the glass house, you can enjoy the vast Alaskan night sky and the magical colors of the Northern Lights.

Travel Tips

• The best season for aurora viewing is September to April. It is recommended to book several months in advance to secure accommodation.

• Each glass igloo is equipped with: a double bed with massage function, underfloor heating, a flush toilet, a separate shower room, a hairdryer, and includes an American breakfast.

• The appearance of the aurora borealis is unpredictable; it is recommended to stay at least two nights to increase the chances of successful viewing.

• Alaskan winters are extremely cold, so it is advisable to bring plenty of warm clothing.
