Hoʻokipa Beach Park, located on the north shore of Maui, Hawaii, is a world-class surfing and windsurfing destination, as well as an ideal spot to enjoy marine life and the beauty of the mountains and sea. What most impresses visitors here is the sight of groups of green sea turtles basking in the sun on the beach, making it one of Maui's most unique wildlife observation experiences.

• Free entry, open all day, no reservation required.

• Do not disturb or touch green sea turtles. Maintain a safe distance and observe local wildlife protection regulations.

• It is recommended to visit in the afternoon, as green sea turtles typically come ashore to sunbathe in the afternoon, and are most numerous then.

• The North Shore has large waves, and is not recommended for beginner surfers. It is suitable for watching professional surfing performances from the observation deck.
