Route Overview
At 8:00am, we will welcome the cruise ship arriving guests at Edinburgh Port and start an unforgettable Edinburgh Classic Day Tour. The itinerary will take you to explore the history and culture of Scotland and visit Edinburgh's iconic attractions.
Our first stop will be Calton Hill. Here you can overlook the entire Edinburgh city and enjoy the magnificent city view. There are many landmark buildings on Calton Hill, including the National Monument and Nelson's Memorial, allowing you to feel the unique charm and profound historical heritage of this city from the beginning.
Next, we will head to the famous Edinburgh Castle, which stands at the highest point of the city and is a symbol of Scottish history. You will be led by a guide to visit the Scottish Crown Treasures, learn about Scotland's royal history, and overlook the magnificent scenery of the entire city.
While touring the center of Edinburgh, we will also visit the Scott Monument, which was built in memory of the famous Scottish writer Walter Scott. By learning about his literary achievements and the cultural background of Edinburgh, you will have a deeper understanding of the literary and artistic atmosphere of this city.
After lunch, you can choose to stroll along the Royal Mile, a street full of history, lined with specialty shops, cafes and historic buildings. Or you can go to the National Museum of Scotland, which displays rich exhibits to learn about Scotland's history, culture, art and technology.
The tour will end at 5:00 pm and we will take you back to Edinburgh Port to ensure you can board the ship on time. Please note: the pick-up time will be flexible according to the actual arrival and departure time of the cruise ship.
【Calton Hill】 — Located in the east of Edinburgh's New Town, it is the commanding height and viewing area of Edinburgh. There are two monuments on Calton Hill, one is the unfinished National Monument to commemorate the dead in the Napoleonic Wars, and the other is the Nelson Monument. Every day at 1 pm when the Edinburgh Castle fires a cannon, the small ball on the top of the Nelson Monument will descend.
【Edinburgh Castle】 — The spiritual pillar of the entire Scotland, ranked as the first tourist destination in Scotland. It was once the residence of the King and Queen of Scotland, and is also one of the summer palaces of the Queen of England. It stands at the commanding heights of the city, built on the top of a 135-meter-high jagged granite formed by an extinct volcano. The terrain is dangerous, with a slope on one side and cliffs on three sides. It is easy to defend and difficult to attack, and is a natural defensive fortress.
【Royal Mile】 — The central avenue of Edinburgh's Old Town. This street starts at Edinburgh Castle and ends at the Palace of Holyroodhouse. It is about one mile long, with alleys crisscrossing on both sides, forming the skeleton of the old town. It includes many attractions, restaurants, bars, shops and hostels, and is the best starting point for exploring Edinburgh's history.

Itinerary
- All tours will depart on time. If tourists do not show up on time, the tour will be treated as "NO SHOW" and no rescheduling or refund will be made.
