Itinerary
Leaving Edinburgh, you drive west, passing Stirling Castle, to your first stop of the day, Doune Castle. Built over 600 years ago, the castle still remains intact. If you are a fan of Monty Python and the series The Holy Grail, The Outlaw King or Outlander, you can learn how the castle was used as a filming location.
You then continue through Callander, crossing the fault line that marks the boundary between the Highlands and Lowlands, and from Balquhidder, the tour winds through the rugged mountain range known as Breadalbane (meaning "Scottish Highlands").
Before lunch, you can stop for photos and admire Kilchurn Castle, a magnificent ruin on the edge of Loch Awe and former home of the Campbell family of Breadalbane.
You continue along the banks of Loch Awe through Campbell country to the picturesque town of Inveraray on the shores of Loch Fyne. Here you can admire the 18th-century castle (open to visitors from April to October), spend time exploring the town, and more.
Leaving Inveraray you will drive through the steep mountains known as the Arrochar Alps to the superb viewpoint of ‘Rest and Give Thanks’. You will then skirt Loch Long and descend to the ‘Bonnie, Bonnie Banks’ of Loch Lomond. You will stop briefly in the conservation village of Luss where you can wander around and admire the quaint houses and take in the stunning views across the loch.
From here, you'll return to Edinburgh, arriving in the capital in the evening.

Wander through this 18th-century town, which was built in the same period as the castle and still retains its Georgian character. Explore the 18th-century castle, the town's old prison and the Maritime Museum.
| Doune Castle
The castle was built in the 14th century and is one of the best-preserved castles in Scotland. It was once the filming location for TV series and movies such as "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", "Game of Thrones" and "Outlander".

Itinerary

If you purchase a senior or student discount ticket, you will need to bring your ID with you on the day of your tour. Otherwise, you may be denied the discount ticket. -

No. The bus will strictly follow the boarding time. If you are not on time, it will be treated as a "no show" or you will have to rush to the next attraction to meet up with the group. Please be sure to arrive at the departure point 15 minutes in advance and find your group. -

Most of the attractions will have a tour guide accompany you into the attractions and provide professional explanations. However, some places such as Windsor Castle specifically prohibit tour guides from entering, so you will need to rent a multilingual audio guide inside. -
Is the pick-up point inside Victoria Coach Station?
No, the pick-up point is not inside the coach station. The pick-up point is about 10 minutes walk from the coach station, please check the map. -
