Detailed Itinerary

Day 2: Lake District: Lake Windermere

After meeting up with the rest of the group in Birmingham and Manchester, we will arrive at the highly popular natural lake in the Lake District, Lake Windermere, around 3 pm (tour time approximately 2.5 hours). You can choose to explore on your own. We recommend (exterior view only): If you want to relive your childhood, why not venture deeper into the town to find the Peter Rabbit Museum, a well-known fairytale paradise in England!

After leaving the lake area in the evening, return to the hotel. Suggested hotel: 3-star Holiday Inn or equivalent.

【Lake Windermere】 —You can stop by the lake to watch the royal swans leisurely playing in the water, stroll along the lakeside, walk onto the boardwalk to admire the lake and mountain scenery up close, and leisurely enjoy the tranquility and peace of the lake district.

Day 3: Depart from the hotel  ‣ Scottish Highlands & A82 (drive-by)  ‣ Glenco Canyon  ‣ Loch Ness  ‣ ▲Urctor Castle

After breakfast, we will depart from the hotel, traveling along the A82 highway, a filming location for the James Bond movies and boasting stunning Scottish scenery. We will enjoy a scenic drive through the Scottish Highlands, with its ancient castles, rolling mountains, and free-roaming wildlife, fulfilling all your expectations of Scotland. We will continue our journey through Glencoe, a filming location for the movie *Braveheart*, and have the opportunity to view the tranquil Loch Tulla and the majestic Three Sisters mountains.

Arrive at Loch Ness in the afternoon. You can take a stroll along the shore or choose to take a Loch Ness sightseeing boat tour (subject to change depending on the season and schedule) and visit Urquhart Castle.

After leaving Loch Ness, proceed to your hotel for rest. Suggested hotel: 3-star Holiday Inn or equivalent.

【Scottish Highlands】 —As the last stronghold of the Ice Age, the Scottish Highlands are known as "the most beautiful region in Europe". The hills and fields of the Scottish Highlands can not only convey the ruggedness and loneliness of "Braveheart", but also express the innocence of "Harry Potter" and the romance of "The Scottish Highlanders".

【 Glencoe Gorge 】(Passing by) — A gorges south of Fort William in the Scottish Highlands Parliament District. This area was featured in the film *Braveheart*, serving as a major filming location. It's also a paradise for hiking enthusiasts, offering views of the serene beauty of Loch Tulla and the majestic Three Sisters mountains.

Loch Ness — Located in the Great Glen of the northern Scottish Highlands, the lake is 37 kilometers long and 2.4 kilometers at its widest point. It never freezes, with steep banks and dense forests, and is the third largest freshwater lake in the UK. Often called "the lake submerged in the sea," it is rich in marine life and famous for the Loch Ness Monster legend.

Urquhart Castle — One of the most important ancient sites in the Scottish Highlands, it played a significant role in the Scottish Wars of Independence in the 14th century and was once the largest castle in Scotland.

Day 4: Edinburgh (free time) → Southwest Ports of Scotland (cruise) → Belfast

After breakfast, we will meet at the hotel and depart for Edinburgh (approximately 3.5 hours for sightseeing and lunch; including 10-20 minutes of driving through important attractions, with the rest of the time free for leisure). Edinburgh's Old Town and New Town are both listed as a World Heritage Site, and this is the last stop for the "Youth Over Flowers" group in the UK.

Overlooking the entire city from Edinburgh Castle is an unmissable experience when visiting Edinburgh. It became the royal castle of Scotland as early as the 6th century, predating many European castles. Afterwards, you can choose to explore at your own pace. Recommended attractions (exterior view only): Stroll along the Royal Mile, a paradise for Scottish souvenirs; visit The Elephant House, where J.K. Rowling wrote Harry Potter; the bustling Princes Street, which divides Edinburgh into the New Town and Old Town, and is known as one of the world's most scenic streets; you can also visit the National Gallery of Scotland, with Princes Street Gardens to the east; and admire Calton Hill in the distance, offering panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean on one side and Edinburgh Castle on the other.

The ancient charm of this place seems to be labeled as Edinburgh: old streets, castles, spires, Scottish atmosphere... melodious bagpipes play in the streets, and numerous street artists adorn the city, making the artistic atmosphere ubiquitous in Edinburgh.

【 Edinburgh Castle 】*Optional Excursion —The spiritual pillar of Scotland, and the premier tourist destination in Scotland. Formerly the residence of the Kings and Queens of Scotland, and one of the summer residences of the Queen of England, it stands atop a 135-meter-high jagged granite hill formed by an extinct volcano. Its strategic location, with one sloping side and three cliffs, makes it a natural fortress, easy to defend and difficult to attack.

The Royal Mile —the central thoroughfare of Edinburgh's Old Town—stretches approximately one mile from Edinburgh Castle to Holyrood Palace, its winding laneways forming the backbone of the Old Town. Encompassing numerous attractions, restaurants, bars, shops, and hostels, it's the perfect starting point for exploring Edinburgh's history.

【 The Elephant Cafe 】 —Elephants are the theme of this cafe; elephants are everywhere. The glass cases are filled with elephant plush toys of various materials and styles, the chairs are elephant-shaped, there are elephant stickers on the glass, and even the coffee cups are printed with elephants. This is the birthplace of "Harry Potter," and J.K. Rowling's fame made this cafe incredibly popular.

Princes Street — Edinburgh's most bustling commercial street, parallel to the Royal Mile. The New Town and Old Town stand on opposite sides, like a battleground between the classical and the modern. To the south lies a lush green expanse, and at its eastern end is Princes Street Gardens. The New Town lies to the north, and the Old Town to the south. A long, narrow hill forms a natural barrier between the two. Princes Street is often described as "the most scenic street in the world."

Calton Hill — Located in the eastern part of Edinburgh's New Town, it is the highest point and most scenic area in Edinburgh. Calton Hill features two monuments: an unfinished national monument commemorating those who died in the Napoleonic Wars, and the Nelson Monument. Every afternoon at 1 pm, when Edinburgh Castle fires its cannons, the small sphere atop the Nelson Monument is lowered.

Arrive at Cairnline, a port in southwest Scotland, in the afternoon. At 7:30 PM, board the state-of-the-art ultra-fast cruise ship (ticket included, journey time approximately 2.5 hours) to Belfast. The cruise offers a variety of paid dining options, a cinema, a café, and other leisure facilities. Enjoy the sea breeze and free Wi-Fi from the observation deck while having dinner. Arrive in Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland and its political and cultural center, in the evening and check into your hotel for rest.

Day 5: Belfast City Centre (Drive-by)  ‣  Dublin (capital of Ireland) / Belfast - Free time

After breakfast, meet at the hotel and depart for the Titanic Museum (approximately 1 hour visit; exterior viewing is available from October 1st to March 31st annually; interior visit is optional at other times). Built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Titanic's sinking, the building's exterior is inlaid with reflective aluminum panels, making it resemble a glacier from a distance. We will also have a distant view of the H&W shipyard and pass by the Albert Memorial Bell, the Big Fish statue, and Belfast City Hall.

Arrive in Dublin, the capital of Ireland, in the afternoon (approximately 4 hours of sightseeing). A charming, classic city, Dublin is bisected by the River Liffey, lined with historic buildings and picturesque scenery. You may choose to visit (exterior only): Trinity College Dublin, an ancient university with a 300-year-old library that served as a filming location for Harry Potter; the Dublin Spire, also known as the Monument of Light, a 121.2-meter-high stainless steel needle-shaped monument; the Halfpenny Bridge spanning the canal; or take photos at the Guinness Winery (exterior only). Return to Belfast in the evening and check into your hotel for rest.

Trinity College , founded in 1592, is one of Ireland's oldest universities. J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, studied at Trinity College and used some of its landscapes and architecture as inspiration for the Harry Potter stories. In particular, the college's long corridors and library are considered to bear similarities to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from the Harry Potter series. The Halfpenny Bridge is a historic bridge spanning the River Liffey in Dublin. It gets its name from the fact that people used to pay a halfpenny to cross the bridge. Built in 1816, it is one of Dublin's iconic landmarks. It connects the shopping district in Dublin's city center with the business district on the south bank. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the River Liffey, as well as the bridge's sculptures and architectural style.

You can choose your own sights to visit. Here are some Belfast attractions (exterior view only): The Titanic Museum (open only during certain hours throughout the year), built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Titanic's sinking. Belfast City Hall, a Baroque Revival building in the city center, with towers at the four corners and a 53-meter green dome at its center. Belfast Cathedral, also known as St. Anne's Cathedral; and the Albert Memorial Bell, whose tower has been tilted since its construction due to foundation issues. If you get tired, experience the local culture. The Crown Bar, a century-old Victorian building, is understated yet elegant, or visit the Grand Opera House across the street to admire its unique architecture. Take a photo in front of the artistic Fish Sculpture, whose ceramic scales are like paintings! If time permits, you can also visit the historic Queen's University Belfast and the adjacent Victorian-era Belfast Botanical Garden.

After the tour, please make your own way to the hotel to rest. Be sure to write down the hotel address and directions in advance. Please pay attention to your safety while traveling and take good care of your belongings.

The Titanic Museum – Built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Titanic's sinking, its exterior is inlaid with reflective aluminum panels, making it resemble a glacier from a distance. Located at the birthplace of the Titanic, which was built in the Belfast shipyard, the museum showcases the Titanic's design, construction, and the events surrounding its sinking. Visitors can learn about the ship's story through exhibits, models, and interactive displays. The Albert Memorial Bell — This clock tower, built in honor of Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria, was completed in 1869. It is one of Belfast's landmarks and a popular tourist attraction in the city center. Visitors can climb the tower for city views and receive explanations about its history and construction. The Albert Memorial Bell is an important part of Belfast's cultural heritage.

D6: Dark Hedges‣ Carrick-a-Lago Bridge (Exterior) ‣ Giants' Road ‣ Belfast Port (by cruise ship)

Meet at the hotel and embark on a journey through the natural beauty of Northern Ireland. En route, pass the Dark Hedges (approx. 30 minutes), the King's Road connecting the Wall and King's Landing in Game of Thrones. Afterwards, proceed to the Carrick-a-Lago Bridge (exterior view only) (approx. 30 minutes), a suspension bridge spanning cliffs and a striking feature of Northern Ireland's magnificent coastline. Finally, visit the Giant's Causeway, a World Heritage Site (approx. 1.5 hours including lunch).

Arrive at Belfast Port in the afternoon and board the 3:30 PM ultra-fast cruise ship (ticket included, journey time approximately 2.5 hours) back to Scotland. The cruise ship offers a variety of paid dining options, a cinema, a café, and other leisure facilities. Enjoy the sea breeze and free Wi-Fi from the observation deck while having dinner. Arrive at Cairnline Port in Scotland in the evening and transfer to your hotel for rest.

【 The Dark Hedges 】 —The Dark Hedges are formed by more than a hundred beech trees planted in the 18th century. It is known as one of the most beautiful tree tunnels in the world. In Game of Thrones, it is the main transportation hub connecting the Wall in the North and King's Landing, namely the King's Road. The Carrick-a-Lago Rope Bridge is a striking landmark on Northern Ireland's magnificent coastline, surrounded by stunning scenery. The rope bridge spans between cliffs. Legend has it that it was originally built because fishermen wanted to fish for salmon on the island!

Day 7: Half-day free time in York: Old City Walls—York Cathedral—The Shambles

After breakfast, depart from the hotel and arrive in York (approximately 4 hours for sightseeing and lunch). York is an old city with over 1900 years of history, blending different eras of British culture and serving as a microcosm and witness to British history. You can choose to explore at your own pace. Recommended attractions (exterior view only) : Visit the medieval Gothic cathedral, York Minster, and the ancient city walls of York, weathered by countless ages. Explore the cobblestone streets of the Shambles, a filming location for Diagon Alley in Harry Potter, now offering a complete range of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. If time permits, you can stroll along the River Ouse or visit the massive British Railway Museum. After a day of sightseeing, enjoy a traditional afternoon tea at Betty's Tea Room, a place renowned for over a century, and experience the leisurely pace of a holiday.

We left York in the afternoon, traveled to Manchester and Birmingham to drop off passengers, and then returned to the hotel.

York Minster (Optional Activity - at your own expense) is the largest surviving medieval cathedral in Europe, the largest Gothic cathedral north of the Alps, and one of the most exquisitely designed and architecturally significant cathedrals in the world. The stone-built cathedral is magnificent and has remained sturdy and imposing for centuries. Its east facade features the world's largest medieval stained-glass window.

【The Butcher Street】 —This street is "Diagon Alley," where little wizards buy all sorts of magical items and books. And this street is undoubtedly a dream destination for every Harry Potter fan. It is the oldest and best-preserved medieval street among the many streets of ancient York.

【York City Walls】 —York's ancient city walls are the best-preserved and longest of all the ancient city walls in England. Built by the Romans, the 5-kilometer-long square wall served as a defensive barrier. Centered on York Minster, it takes approximately two hours to walk around the walls.

Betty's Tea House — arguably the best tea house in Northern England and York's most popular restaurant, it enjoys a stellar reputation throughout Yorkshire and even Northern England. With over 90 years of history, Betty's Tea House is always bustling with long queues year-round.

Day 8: Warwick Castle ‣ Cambridge 

Arrive at Warwick Castle in Warwickshire in the morning (tour and lunch time approximately 1.5 hours). The castle dates back to the 11th century and features Castle Mound, round towers, and expansive lawns. You can climb to the top for panoramic views, and the castle often hosts family-friendly activities.

In the afternoon, we will travel to Cambridge (approximately 3.5 hours of sightseeing). Xu Zhimo's poem "Saying Goodbye to Cambridge Again" describes Cambridge, where ancient college buildings surround vast lawns, and the winding River Cam flows through this university city. You can steal a moment to experience a Cambridge boat trip on the River Cam, or stroll through the colleges to soak in the cultural atmosphere. Afterwards, you can explore at your own pace. We recommend (exterior view only): the large and beautiful King's College, with its magnificent Gothic architecture. Trinity College, renowned for both its fame and wealth, has an apple tree at its entrance, said to be a descendant of the apple tree that struck Newton. Two famous bridges span the River Cam: Newton's Mathematical Bridge and the Bridge of Sighs, connecting St. John's College.

We returned to the hotel to rest in the evening.

Warwick Castle (Optional Activity) – A historic medieval castle with a rich history and stunning architecture. Originally built in the 11th century, it served as the residence of William the Conqueror and later became a royal residence and military fortress. Visitors can explore the ancient towers, the Knights' Hall, and the magnificent gardens, immersing themselves in the medieval atmosphere. Cambridge — This city, steeped in history and boasting stunning architecture such as St. John's College and King's College, attracts students and tourists from around the world. Visitors can stroll along the beautiful campuses on the banks of the River Cam, admiring the ancient college buildings and magnificent bridges, and soaking in the city's unique atmosphere. Cambridge is also a vibrant city brimming with cultural and artistic activity, offering a wealth of museums, galleries, and music venues for visitors to enjoy.

Day 9: Full-day in-depth tour of London

* The order of sightseeing spots on the London day tour may be adjusted due to factors such as weather, road conditions, traffic, and boat schedules. The itinerary will be determined by the tour guide on the day.

After breakfast, the group will depart for Tower Bridge (exterior view, approximately 30 minutes). This suspension bridge spans the River Thames and is named after its proximity to the Tower of London; it is a symbol of London. You can also choose to take a Thames River cruise to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the river. The Thames meanders through London, connecting many of the city's scenic spots, such as the London Eye, Millennium Bridge, and St. Paul's Cathedral. A modern and convenient cruise offers a different perspective on London's beauty. (Approximately 30 minutes. Those not participating in the cruise will proceed to the next destination by bus.)

Afterwards, we will tour central London (approximately 1.5 hours on foot), visiting Buckingham Palace (exterior view), the Queen's residence and a venue for British national celebrations and royal welcoming ceremonies. We will then walk past Westminster Abbey (exterior view), a key filming location for *The Da Vinci Code*, and see the Houses of Parliament (exterior view), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a representative example of Gothic Revival architecture. We will also see Big Ben (exterior view), a popular London landmark, and 10 Downing Street (exterior view), the British Prime Minister's residence, often featured in numerous photographs. Afterwards, we will proceed to Trafalgar Square (approximately 1 hour for sightseeing and lunch), also known as Pigeon Square due to the large number of pigeons that frequent it. Following lunch, we will visit the British Museum (approximately 2.5 hours), which boasts a rich and diverse collection and a spectacular glass and steel dome in its grand atrium. (If the museum is temporarily closed, the time allotted for other attractions will be extended.)

19:00 Arrive at London Golders Green Underground Station for drop-off. (The actual drop-off location and time will be confirmed on your final e-ticket.)

The second day is a self-guided tour; you are free to explore at your own pace. Please check out of your hotel on your own. Buckingham Palace — The British monarch frequently conducts official business here, receives the Prime Minister or ministers, and hosts important events such as state celebrations. The palace currently has 775 rooms, and its gardens are the largest private gardens in London. The State Rooms, used for official and state entertainment, are open to the public for most of August and September, and on certain days during the winter and spring. The famous Changing of the Guard ceremony takes place every morning. Tower Bridge — A high-towered iron bridge spanning the River Thames, named after its proximity to the Tower of London, and a symbol of London. It is a 244-meter-long, movable bridge with two towers, each 65 meters high. Today, the bridge is raised and lowered by electric motors, but the original steam engine mechanism is still preserved and open to the public. The British Museum , founded in 1753, is the world's first national museum and one of the world's largest and most famous museums. It houses over 8 million items, a collection so rich and diverse that it is unparalleled among museums worldwide.

• Two adults can bring one child (aged 3-11 years) without an extra bed and enjoy a £70 discount. If one adult brings one child, the option of the child not occupying a bed or sharing a room is not available; the adult will need to pay for two adults and stay in a separate room. • Since the drivers picking up passengers need to travel to and from multiple terminals at Heathrow Airport, the specific arrival time for each terminal will be announced in the group chat after the drivers are assigned on the day.
• The free airport pick-up service is a group-based service. There may be other customers on the vehicle. The driver is only responsible for the pick-up service between the airport and the hotel and cannot answer questions related to other group tours.

• Please arrive at the designated departure point at least 30 minutes in advance, and close the vehicle doors 15 minutes before departure. All tours will depart on time. If a tourist does not arrive on time, the tour will be treated as a "NO SHOW," and no rescheduling or refund will be offered.
• In the event of major local events, attraction closures, or other force majeure events that cause changes to the itinerary or prevent entry to attractions, adjustments may be made or attractions may be changed to exterior views only. The final arrangements on the day shall prevail.

• If you purchase a hotel room before the tour, we will send you the hotel address before departure. The hotel is conveniently located from the airport terminal: you can choose to take the airport bus or a taxi to the hotel, which takes about 20-30 minutes.
  
  Kind tips:
  1. Check-in time for the first day is usually after 3:00 PM. If you arrive at the hotel before 3:00 PM, the hotel may allow you to store your luggage and use facilities such as the hotel lobby and restaurant. Check-in to your room is usually after 3:00 PM.
  2. Regarding the single room supplement for the first and last two nights: If one person registers, a single room supplement of £160 is required for the first and last two nights by default; if three people register, the first and last two nights will be in a family room by default. If this is not agreed upon, a single room supplement of £160 will be required at the time of registration. One standard room and one single room can be arranged.
  3. Please be aware of your safety and keep your personal belongings safe.
  4. Our tour guide will pick you up directly from the lobby of your hotel the following morning to begin the tour (we will send you the specific time along with the tour guide's information the day before departure, please check your messages). Once registered, cancellation of reservations under any circumstances or for any reason will be handled according to the following terms:

• Free cancellation/free rescheduling/transfer to another tour if booked 30 days or more prior to departure;
• 29-16 days prior to departure, a 5% handling fee will be deducted and the remainder will be refunded;
• If the departure date is 15-9 days prior to the departure date, 35% of the total tour fee will be deducted.
• If the departure date is 6-8 days prior to the departure date, 55% of the total tour fee will be deducted.
• If the departure date is within 5 days, 100% of the total tour fee will be deducted.

If the visa application materials were provided by our company, cancellation will be handled according to the following terms:

• For orders placed 45 days or more prior to departure, a £100 handling fee will be deducted, and the remainder will be refunded.
• If the departure date is 30-22 days prior to the departure date, 20% of the total tour fee will be deducted.
  
• For tours departing 21-9 days prior to departure, 40% of the total tour fee will be deducted.
• If the departure date is within 8 days, 100% of the total tour fee will be deducted.
