Specific itinerary
You leave Manchester and head straight for the Welsh border.
Your first stop today is Conwy. This is one of the most beautiful port cities in the world. You'll see a castle sitting on the seaside, the "smallest house in the world" and lots of lovely restaurants that pride themselves on the best fish and chips.
You'll travel along winding, scenic roads through Snowdonia National Park before arriving in the town of Betws-Y-Coed. This quaint town is known as the gateway to Snowdonia and is famous for its alpine trees and cosy cafes.
Chester is your next stop. This is one of England's most historic towns, which means there's plenty to do here. We recommend you go straight to the ancient cathedral and learn about its remarkable past.
