Itinerary
Day 1: Departure from London/Birmingham/Manchester — Lake District: Lake Windermere
Meet at 08:00 London Golders Green Underground Station and depart.
10:00 Meet at Birmingham Airport/Train Station for departure.
Meet at 12:00 at Altrncham Transport Hub, Manchester, for departure.
In the afternoon, arrive at the highly popular natural lake in the Lake District, Lake Windermere (approximately 2.5 hours). You can stop by the lake to watch the royal swans gracefully swimming, stroll along the shore, walk onto the boardwalk for a closer look at the lake and mountain scenery, and leisurely enjoy the tranquility and peace of the Lake District. You can choose to explore on your own. We recommend (exterior view only): If you want to relive your childhood, try visiting the Peter Rabbit Museum, a well-known fairytale paradise deep in the town! After the tour, the group will depart from the Lake District and arrive at the hotel in the evening (arrival time depends on the final hotel location).
Recommended Hotel: Holiday Inn Express (3-star) or equivalent brand hotel
Day 2: Depart from hotel—Highlands & A82 (drive-by)—Glenco Gorge—Loch Ness—Urctor Castle
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart and travel along the A82 highway, a filming location for the James Bond movies and home to stunning Scottish scenery. We will enjoy a scenic drive through the Scottish Highlands, with its ancient castles, rolling mountains, and free-roaming wildlife, fulfilling all your expectations of Scotland. We will then traverse Glencoe, a filming location for the movie *Braveheart*, a paradise for hiking enthusiasts, where we can see the serene beauty of Loch Tulla and the majestic Three Sisters mountains.
We stopped at a service area for a rest and lunch at noon.
In the afternoon, arrive at Loch Ness (approximately 1 hour visit). Enjoy a beautiful viewpoint where you can stroll along the shore or choose to take a Loch Ness sightseeing boat tour and visit Urquhart Castle. Urquhart Castle is one of the most important historical sites in the Scottish Highlands, playing a crucial role in the Scottish Wars of Independence in the 14th century. From the castle, you can enjoy panoramic views of the enigmatic Loch Ness, now exuding a sense of solitude and mystery. After the tour, gather and depart for the hotel. Arrive at the hotel in the evening (arrival time depends on the final hotel location).
Recommended Hotel: Holiday Inn Express (3-star) or equivalent brand hotel
Day 3: Depart from the hotel — Half-day free time in Edinburgh
After breakfast, meet at the hotel and depart for Edinburgh (approximately 4 hours for sightseeing and lunch; including 10-20 minutes of driving through important attractions, the rest of the time is free time). This is the last stop of the tour in the UK. A panoramic view of the city from Edinburgh Castle is an unmissable experience. It became the royal castle of Scotland as early as the 6th century, predating many European castles. Afterwards, you can choose to explore at your own pace. Recommended attractions (exterior view only): Stroll along the Royal Mile, a paradise for Scottish souvenirs; the Elephant House café, located at a street corner, is where J.K. Rowling wrote Harry Potter; the bustling Princes Street, which divides Edinburgh into the New Town and Old Town, is known as one of the world's most scenic streets; you can visit the National Gallery of Scotland, with Princes Street Gardens to the east; view Calton Hill in the distance, offering views of the azure Atlantic Ocean on one side and the entire Edinburgh Castle on the other; if time permits, you can visit Holyrood Palace, located a little further away, the Queen's summer residence.
We will meet in the afternoon and depart for the hotel. We will arrive at the hotel in the evening (arrival time depends on the final hotel location).
Recommended Hotel: Holiday Inn Express (3-star) or equivalent

The Shambles, a medieval street paved with cobblestones, was a filming location for Diagon Alley in Harry Potter, and now offers a complete range of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. If time permits, you can stroll along the River Ouse or visit the massive British Railway Museum. After a day of sightseeing, enjoy a traditional English afternoon tea at Betty's Tea Room, a place renowned for over a century, and experience the leisurely pace of a holiday.
