Itinerary

Specific itinerary

D1: London ‣ Jurassic Coastline ‣ Eden

In the morning, we will depart from the departure point and head to the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the English Channel in southern England. The Jurassic Coast is composed of cliffs from the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods, spanning the Mesozoic era and recording 180 million years of history. It has unique geographical features and displays different topographic structures. We will see the best-preserved natural wonders before human civilization. After witnessing the changes in history, we will go to the Eden's Project in Wall County. After a day of sightseeing, return to the hotel to rest.

[Jurassic Coast] — The Jurassic Coast is the only natural World Heritage Site in the UK and was selected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. The spectacular Jurassic Coast is 95 miles long, stretching from East Devon to Dorset in an east-west direction. The rocks on the coastline can be traced back as far as 185 million years ago! Although the Jurassic Coast is named after the Jurassic fossils, the sedimentary rocks here are not only from the Jurassic, but also fossils from the Triassic and Cretaceous periods can be found here. The varied terrain of the Jurassic coastline shows different topographic structures.

【Garden of Eden】 — Surrounded by the scattered rainforest plants, birdsong and flowers, people are amazed at the ecological community in front of them, which is called the "Eighth Wonder of the World". This is the world-class ecological greenhouse located in Cornwall, England - the Eden Project. More than 1,000 rainforest plants are scattered in the giant ecological greenhouse ball of the Garden of Eden, which not only makes the picturesque Cornwall shine, but also spreads the concept of sustainability to the world.

D2: Cliff Theatre ‣ Land's End ‣ St Ives

After leaving the hotel in Exeter today, we first went to the wonderful Cliff Theatre, which is a top art palace that attracts countless tourists from all over the world every year - The Minack Theatre.
Then, let us go to the end of the land [Land's End]. As the name suggests, this is the end of the land and also the end of the world in the UK.
Then we headed to St. Ives. The town is full of galleries and a strong artistic atmosphere. It is also a surfer's paradise and the most ideal holiday paradise for British people in summer. The town has retro white-walled buildings and narrow bluestone paths. Being in it is a pure baptism for the soul. An arm's length away from the port area are the narrow streets and sidewalks that make up the old town. These roads are connected to each other, giving you countless opportunities to explore. No matter what the reason is to come to St. Ives - surfing on the Blue Coast, walking on the Blue Flag beach, or the attraction of art - you can find everything you need here.
After this fulfilling day, we returned to the hotel to rest.

【Minack Theatre】 — This building, located on the seaside cliffs and huge rocks, looks like an ancient Roman ruin, which makes people suspect that it is an ancient historical and cultural site, or the work of ancient Hercules, but in fact, it is a top art palace that attracts countless tourists from all over the world every year - The Minack Theatre. This amazing cliff-top amphitheater is the favorite of local socialite Rowena Cade. Every stone and every grain of sand here is carefully designed by this British woman, and the theater was originally just the backyard of Rowena's home.

【St. Ives】 — The most beautiful town on the vast coastline of Cornwall. Known as the most romantic seaside town in the UK, it was once rated as one of the top ten best beaches in Europe by TripAdvisor (the world's largest travel community). St. Ives is surrounded by the sea on three sides, with a spectacular coastline, golden beaches, blue waters, and exquisite buildings, forming a picturesque town. It is also a modern art town that is detached from the world. It attracts a large number of artists who come here to capture the beauty of nature. It is known as the favorite place for British artists.

D3: Plymouth ‣ Bristol ‣ London

Today we will first go to the seaside city [Plymouth]. Plymouth is located in Devon, southwest England. We will mainly visit the British three-masted galleon [Mayflower], which set out from Plymouth, England in 1962 to establish the first colony in North America. With the independence of the United States, it was given as a commemorative gift to the United States. In 1995, the city of Plymouth, USA, decided to restore the "Mayflower" as an exhibition ship as a symbol of the development of Plymouth's immigrant society.
After that, we will set off for Bristol. Bristol is located on the west side of the Irish Sea. It is the largest city in the southwest of England and one of the eight core cities in England. After World War II, Bristol developed into the UK's space center. First, we will visit the Great Britain. The Great Britain, which was launched in the UK in 1843, officially made Britain the largest and most luxurious ship in the world.
After visiting the Britannia, we will go to the city center of Bristol. Here you can visit the underwater animals in the oceanarium, walk on the streets of Bristol, feel the atmosphere of Bristol, or sit on the pier and drink coffee or beer to spend a leisurely time.
Next we will go to the legendary [Clifton Suspension Bridge]. With nearly 150 years of history and various strange stories, this bridge has become a must-go place for people.
After the tour, we took a bus back to our starting point, London, ending our three-day wonderful journey.

【Plymouth】 — Located in Devonshire, southwest England, it is a city with a rich maritime history. It was once a shipyard for the British Royal Navy and a port for British people to go to sea from the 16th to the 19th century. The city's main attractions include the castle, Devonport Dockyard, watchtowers and several art galleries; the port has regular international ferries to France and Spain; the famous Union Street has been a nightlife center for more than a century, with many concert halls and cinemas, and a large number of bars, nightclubs and casinos on the street, with a very rich nightlife.

【Bristol】 — Bristol is located in the southwest of England, close to the Irish Sea. It has been an extremely important commercial port in the UK since the Middle Ages. Today, it has become an important aerospace high-tech and financial trade center in the UK. There are not only shopping malls that are famous throughout the UK, but also ancient buildings with a long history and unique styles. Because the representative buildings of each period are well preserved, Bristol is also known as the "Museum City" of the UK.

[Britannia] — The world's first steel steam-powered ship and the first ocean-going steamship to cross the Atlantic. It was built by engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The once glorious Britannia was decommissioned in Stanley Port, Falkland Island in 1937 and was not towed back to Bristol until 1970. It took 30 years of careful repairs before reopening. In addition to admiring the decorations inside the cabin, you can also walk on the glass walkway laid on the sea surface, which is exciting and fresh.

【Clifton Suspension Bridge】 — The Clifton Suspension Bridge spans the Avon Gorge and is one of the landmark buildings in Bristol, England. It was designed by British genius designer and Victorian engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel. It is 412 meters long, 9.4 meters wide, 74 meters high, and has a main span of 214 meters. It is one of the earliest large-span suspension bridges in the world, adopting the Victorian practical architectural style and spanning the Avon Gorge. With nearly 150 years of history and various strange stories, this bridge has become a must-go place for people.
