Day 2: Haparanda‣ Icebreaker‣ Haparanda (Optional polar icebreaking experience at your own expense)
After breakfast, head to the Gulf of Bothnia in the northern Baltic Sea to embark on the ABBA Cruise icebreaker, enjoying an ABBA music party and a breathtaking 3-hour icebreaking experience. Feel the thrill of the ice beneath your feet, and you can also change into a warm flotation suit (must be at least 125cm tall to float) to float on the icy sea and experience its unique charm, or try ice walking. After the cruise, drive back to your hotel in Halampada for rest.
*Icebreakers require advance booking; availability is limited and will be available while supplies last.
Day 3: Haparanda → Rovaniemi → Salizarca
Depart from the hotel in the morning to visit Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi. You can take photos with Santa Claus, cross the Arctic Circle, enjoy delicious food, and buy souvenirs and postcards. After leaving Santa Claus Village, head to Saarissarka for a short rest and dinner. Then, we will take a nighttime snowmobile ride into the dark forest to search for the Northern Lights. Embrace nature in the night forest and feel the power of the Arctic.
* Stay in a log cabin on the third, fourth, and fifth nights of the trip!
The cabins are mostly suites for 3-8 people, with multiple rooms in each suite, typically for two people. Unlike hotels, the room types are not standardized; the number of standard rooms is limited, and it's impossible to specify a particular room type. We hope you can understand and cooperate with the different room arrangements, but we believe your cabin experience tonight will be unforgettable.
* Due to limited availability of glass igloos during the winter, payment is required upfront but availability cannot be guaranteed. Confirmation of availability will be provided only after booking is completed. If a reservation is not secured before departure, a refund will be arranged.
* Upgrade to a glass igloo is available at your own expense: Northern Light Village, Aurora Cabin/Polar Sky Suite. Occupancy: 2 people (Note: After upgrading to a glass igloo, guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation between the glass igloo and the activity area.)
Day 4: Saariselkä (includes a reindeer farm; optional husky sledding and snowshoeing at your own expense)
This morning, we will visit a reindeer farm at a Lapland camp. In the afternoon, we will ride a husky sled, and in the evening, we will experience snowshoeing to chase the Northern Lights. First, we will visit the Reindeer Farm (included), where you can learn about Sami culture, feed and interact with the reindeer up close, and enjoy a 15-minute reindeer sled ride (***reindeer sled rides are only available if snowfall permits! If snowfall is insufficient, only a visit to the reindeer farm will be possible, please be aware!). Experience Santa Claus's mode of transportation! The reindeer will lead the way in the sled, and you will sit in the sled and enjoy the unique polar scenery. Afterwards, we will participate in a Husky Safari (optional), where you will be surrounded by magical snowscapes as the huskies run. After a short rest and dinner, we will explore the national park in the evening and experience snowshoeing (optional) to chase the Northern Lights. Afterwards, we will return to our Saariselkä cabin for overnight stay.
Day 5: Salizarca → Kirkenes → Salizarca (Optional King Crab Tour with Lunch)
In the morning, we will depart from Salisekar and head to Kirkenes, a renowned king crab fishing destination. Here, we will witness how the locals catch king crabs. Afterward, we will enjoy fresh king crab at a restaurant. After the event, we will return to Salisekar and check into a traditional local chalet hotel.
Day 6: Saariselkä → Rovaniemi → Helsinki
After checking out in the morning, proceed to Rovaniemi to visit the Polar Museum (optional, at your own expense). The museum's exhibits provide a wealth of information about the development of the Arctic region today, as well as displays about the history, culture, and nature of Lapland. After the tour, take the Arctic train back to Helsinki that evening, spending the night on a double sleeper train.

Attraction Introduction
| SnowExperience365
The concept of Kemi Snow Castle has been continuously updated over the past few years. Currently, Kemi Snow Castle offers a variety of services, ranging from snow and ice experiences to restaurants, accommodations, conference facilities, and saunas. SnowExperience365 is an ice sculpture exhibition hall within the Snow Castle, allowing you to enter a winter wonderland any time of year. You can walk on the snow and admire the beautiful ice sculptures. The themes of the ice sculptures change from time to time; the current theme is a fairytale castle. SnowExperience365 includes ice sculptures, ice slides, an ice bar, and ice tables.
The Ice Castle Winter Park is a snow park that opens only at the beginning of winter each year (weather permitting). The park is entirely made of ice and snow and offers visitors traditional Finnish snow activities. It will include an ice tube slide, another toboggan slide, a snow maze, a traditional Finnish carousel toboggan, an indoor area with several ice sculptures, and more.
| Polar Explorer Icebreaker
Built in 1976, the Polar Explorer Icebreaker is hailed as one of the finest icebreakers in Lapland. Measuring 78 meters long and 14 meters wide, it currently accommodates 199 people. The Polar Explorer Icebreaker offers a 3-hour cruise on the frozen waters of Portinia Bay in Lapland. During this time, you'll witness the ship's immense icebreaking capabilities through a guided tour from the engine room to the captain's bridge. Audio guides in 16 languages are available via an audio guide app, including an 11-minute film about icebreakers around the world. You can relax in the comfortable lounge with a warm juice or stroll on the frozen sea ice during docking. The icebreaker will also create an ice-free swimming pool where each passenger can swim in the dark, icy water wearing a flotation suit.
| Polar snowshoes chasing the aurora
As dusk settles over the mountaintop, the stars gradually peek out from the sky. Adventurous explorers decide to set off, donning special snowshoes and venturing into the dark forests of Urho Kekkonen, Finland's second largest national park, heading towards the highest point east of the town in search of the mysterious Northern Lights. The guide will share stories of the enigmatic night sky and Lapland along the way. Embrace nature in the dark forest and feel the mystical power of the Arctic. Please dress warmly and protect yourself from the cold. This is a physical activity requiring a certain level of endurance and appropriate moisture-wicking clothing, as you will sweat profusely. Warm, professional boots are also necessary; athletic shoes are not permitted. (Height 140cm and above, approximately 2 hours; children under 14 years old receive a 50% discount)

On the slopes, warm yourself by a fireplace under the stars, then enjoy biscuits and hot drinks. Two people drive each snowmobile, with each person driving for approximately 30 minutes. Professional warm gear is provided: Overalls, Boots, Gloves, Mittens, Balaclava, Helmet. A driver's license is required (original/copy/photo/motorcycle/car acceptable); experienced drivers are recommended. (Children under 13 years old or under 140cm tall can only ride in the snowmobile at a 50% discount, approximately 3 hours).

Finally, you'll receive an officially certified Arctic Circle crossing certificate from Lapland as a precious souvenir.
King Crab Catching + King Crab Feast

- Bank cards, credit cards, etc.
- Pillows, travel pillows, etc. needed for overnight buses
- High-quality camera used to photograph the Northern Lights - Is it cold in the Arctic Circle?
Based on feedback from our guests, the perceived temperature in the Arctic Circle is not as cold as its theoretical temperature. Due to the frequent windless weather, the perceived temperature is similar to that in Beijing during the same period when people are active. - Will it stop snowing in the Arctic Circle?
All our Arctic Circle tours are located at least 250 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle line. This is because the higher the latitude, the greater the probability of seeing the aurora borealis and snow cover. However, we cannot guarantee the weather conditions when you arrive in the Arctic Circle. Heavy snow typically arrives in the Arctic Circle in early November each year. If the snow cover is not deep enough to prevent certain activities from being carried out, we will offer alternatives or a full refund for that activity. - Does the Arctic Circle experience polar night in winter, meaning there is no daytime?
In the Arctic Circle region, the sun rises around 9-10 AM and sets just before 3-4 PM. Daylight lasts approximately 6 hours. That's a perfectly normal daytime! - Can you guarantee that you will see the aurora?
In Lapland, the northernmost region, the aurora borealis can be seen almost every night, provided it's dark and the sky is clear. In the Saariselkä region, the aurora borealis is frequently witnessed, although cloud cover can reduce visibility, similar to how summer nights affect its brightness. On average, the aurora borealis can be seen on up to 200 nights a year in northern Lapland. Therefore, the chances of witnessing the aurora during a week-long Arctic Circle trip are quite high!
