Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Reykjavik‣ Golden Circle‣ Tomato Farm‣ Vik
Meet at 9:00 AM (June-September) / 10:00 AM (October-May) at the Harpa Concert Hall parking lot in Reykjavik and depart for the classic Icelandic route, the Golden Circle: Thingvellir National Park, Geysir, and Gullfoss waterfall. Afterwards, visit the Friðheimar tomato farm to see the geothermal greenhouses and have the opportunity to see the adorable Icelandic horses.
Arrive in Vik or a nearby town in the evening and check in. Weather permitting, you may be able to see the aurora borealis near your hotel that night.
The Golden Circle is the most classic scenic route in southwestern Iceland, connecting three iconic landscapes: Thingvellir National Park (a World Heritage Site, a tectonic plate boundary and the site of the ancient council), Geysir Geyser Basin (spectacular eruptions), and Gullfoss (two-tiered waterfall with a magnificent mist, often accompanied by rainbows on sunny days).
【Tomato Farm】 — Located on the Golden Circle, Friðheimar is Iceland's most unique tomato farm, offering a distinctive lunch experience in its greenhouse. You can sit back and enjoy a tomato soup feast with freshly baked bread and cucumber salsa. Visitors can also purchase a variety of delicious farm specialties, such as tomato jam, cucumber salsa, and tomato drinks. Next time you're in this land of ice and fire, don't forget to visit Friðheimar!
Day 2: Vik → Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon → Diamond Beach → Blue Ice Cave/Glacier Lagoon Boat Trip → Vik
After breakfast, we will head to the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. On a clear day, the sunlight reflecting off the ice on the beach creates a dazzling display, like sparkling diamonds. Depending on the weather and time, you can also choose to participate in the Blue Ice Cave Adventure (only available from November to April of the following year; from May to October, it will be replaced with a Glacier Lagoon Cruise).
Check into a hotel in or near Vik that evening. Weather permitting, you may be able to see the aurora borealis near the hotel that night.
【Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon & Diamond Beach】 —Clasts of ice calving from Vatnajökull Glacier float on the glacier lagoon, then are washed ashore by the waves onto the black sand beach on the opposite shore. The crystal-clear ice blocks shimmer and sparkle in the sunlight, creating a striking contrast with the black sand, making it one of Iceland's most iconic "ice and sea" wonders.
【Blue Ice Cave Adventure】*Optional Excursion – A natural wonder available only in winter. The adventure takes you through ever-changing glacial landscapes, culminating in a crystal-clear blue ice cave. The ice cave is naturally formed and its appearance changes annually; the specific cave visit will be arranged based on safety and weather conditions on the day.
*The Blue Ice Cave exploration tour requires secondary confirmation of location and is only available for tours held between November and April of the following year.
Day 3: Vik‣ South Bank Scenery‣ Reykjavik
After breakfast at the hotel, we will travel to the Eldhraun lava field, formed by lava flows from a volcanic eruption. Then we will visit the Renis black sand beach, where the basalt columns and sea stacks are truly breathtaking. Depending on time, a visit to the DC-3 aircraft wreck is optional (at your own expense). Afterwards, we will head to the two major waterfalls on the south shore: Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, to appreciate their grandeur and beauty from different perspectives.
Reynisfjara Beach — Famous for its black sand beach and basalt columns formed by volcanic activity, the contrast between the black sand and white waves is striking and visually appealing. Please be aware of the risk of swirling waves and be sure to follow the on-site safety instructions.
【DC-3 Aircraft Wreckage】*Optional Excursion —The aircraft wreckage on the barren plains and the black volcanic sands create a visually striking scene. The weathered fuselage presents a unique desolate beauty and is one of Iceland's most recognizable non-natural landmarks.
【Seljalandsfoss】 —The waterfall cascades down from the ancient sea cliffs. When weather and trail conditions permit, you can walk around behind the waterfall to experience the unique view from the "back view of the waterfall," which is one of the most classic photo spots on the south shore.
Day 4: Free time in Reykjavik
The last day of your trip in Iceland is entirely up to you. Depending on your return flight or departure time, you can choose from a variety of optional excursions at your own expense: relax at the Blue Lagoon, go whale watching, or head to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula for breathtaking views.

The entire trip takes approximately 11 hours, returning to Reykjavik around 7:00 PM.
【Snaefellsnes Peninsula】 — With its diverse geology and landscapes, it combines classic elements such as glaciers and volcanoes, sea cliffs, tundra and black sand beaches, and is known as "a microcosm of Iceland". It is also a popular destination for photography enthusiasts.
