Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Reykjavik ‣ Golden Circle ‣ Crater Lake ‣ Southern Towns
After meeting at the Harpa Concert Hall parking lot in Reykjavik in the morning, we will depart for one of Iceland's most popular travel routes – the Golden Circle. Our first stop is Þingvellir National Park, Iceland's largest national park and its only UNESCO World Heritage Site. The next two stops are Geysir and Gullfoss. At Geysir, you will witness the spectacular sight of Strokkur spouting water high into the air every 10 minutes, experiencing the vibrant geothermal activity of Iceland. Gullfoss is one of Iceland's most spectacular waterfalls, reaching a height of 32 meters, with a truly awe-inspiring cascade. Afterwards, we will visit Kerið Crater Lake (optional). This crater is approximately 270 meters wide and over 55 meters deep, with a 14-meter-deep lake at its bottom. The surrounding rocks display a beautiful and mysterious blend of red and orange hues.

Group buy start times: [June-September] 09:00; [October-May of next year] 10:00
Meeting point: Parking lot of Harpa Concert Hall, Reykjavik
Day 2: Southern town → Reynis black sand beach → Vik → Plane wreckage → Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfall → Southern Iceland
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Eldhraun, a lava field formed by lava flows from a volcanic eruption. We'll pass through Vik, a small town at the southernmost tip of Iceland's main island, where a charming red-roofed church sits atop a hill. Our next stop is the well-known Reynis black sand beach on the south coast, where the basalt columns offer stunning photo opportunities. Afterwards, we will visit the DC-3 aircraft wreckage (optional), a site with a post-apocalyptic feel. Although an aviation accident, the wreckage caused no injuries, creating a unique non-natural landscape. The weathered fuselage, increasingly dilapidated, possesses a desolate beauty.
Next, we'll drive to two major waterfalls in the south, Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, to experience the magnificent yet gentle scenery of the south. Don't forget that you can appreciate the waterfalls from different angles.
Day 3: Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon ‣ Southern Town
After breakfast at the hotel, we will continue along the south coast, exploring the magnificent scenery of Iceland's south shore. We will arrive at Vatnajökull National Park and visit Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, a dazzling jewel in Iceland's natural crown. After the visit, we will stroll along Diamond Beach on the opposite shore. In winter, you can meet at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon for an optional blue ice cave exploration led by an experienced glacier guide (at your own expense) (only from November to March). In summer, you can experience a glacier lagoon boat trip (at your own expense) (from May to October).
Blue ice caves are rare, naturally formed phenomena that can only be seen when winter temperatures drop below freezing and the river beneath the ice freezes. Different locations create caves of varying styles each year. Depending on conditions and safety, we will selectively visit one natural ice cave during our trip.
Day 4: Southern town ‣ East Fjords of Iceland ‣ Eijlstadt
After breakfast, depart from the hotel to explore the Eastern Fjords region, a picturesque and distinctive coastline featuring historic fishing villages, stunning natural scenery, majestic waterfalls, volcanic meadows, rugged mountains, and spectacular glaciers. Along the way, visit the Petra Stone Museum (optional, at your own expense), bird eggs, and the renowned "Daydreamer's Town"—Seyðisfjörður, nestled in the fjord of the same name in eastern Iceland. Approximately 668 residents live in this secluded fjord town. Afterwards, drive to Eijlstadt for overnight accommodation in Eijlstadt or a nearby hotel.
Day 5: Eilstazy‣ Dettifoss‣ Lake Mývatn‣ Borealis Falls ‣Acreli
After breakfast, depart from the Eijlstadj hotel for northern Iceland. First, visit Dettifoss, renowned as Europe's most powerful and largest waterfall (this stop is cancelled due to road icing in winter). Then proceed to the Lake Mývatn area, where, in addition to its beautiful scenery, the landscape boasts well-preserved volcanic geological features. Enjoy a walking tour of the area around Lake Mývatn, where a cone-shaped volcanic crater stands, and the numerous lava flows in the area are the result of its eruptions. Next, visit Godsfoss (Waterfall of the Gods), which, while not as imposing as Dettifoss, possesses a more divine aura due to its associated mythology and the snow-covered scenery in winter. After the tour, check into a hotel in or around Arklayk.
Day 6: Akureyri‣ Dalvik Whale Watching‣ Rekhhot
After breakfast, we'll begin our journey in the picturesque village of Dalvik, overlooking the sea and renowned as one of Iceland's premier whale watching destinations (optional, at your own expense). We'll embark on a classic whale watching boat trip to Eyjafjökull, one of Iceland's best whale watching spots, to search for these magnificent deep-sea creatures. During the whale watching trip, we'll also enjoy a deep-sea fishing activity, allowing everyone to fully immerse themselves in nature.
Afterwards, we will visit the beautiful Heron Falls, also known as the Lava Falls, a magnificent waterfall that flows into the surging Hevita River. A 10-minute walk along the riverbank will take you to Barnafoss, the Children's Falls, with its uniquely shaped rocks. Overnight in Rekholt or the surrounding area.
Day 7: Snæfellsnes Peninsula ‣ Kirkjufell (Church) ‣ Al-Nastapi ‣ Reykjavik
Afterwards, we'll depart for the famous "Little Iceland," the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, to admire the Kirkjufell (Church Mountain) and the Church Falls. On this day, you can experience the shimmering sunlight on the waves, the gentle drizzle on the mountains, and the steaming hot springs. Afterwards, we'll visit the charming villages of Arnarstapi and Hellnar, where we'll see some of Iceland's most captivating and photogenic houses. On the return trip to Reykjavik, we'll visit the over 300-year-old Black Church of Budil, dating back to 1703. Budil is a landmark of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and one of Iceland's oldest wooden churches.
Day 8: Blue Lagoon ‣ Airport ‣ Reykjavik
After breakfast, depart for the Blue Lagoon (optional, at your own expense) for a relaxing soak in the hot springs. Airport transfer can be arranged afterward (around 12:00 PM, depending on Blue Lagoon schedule). Afterward, proceed to the city center to visit Lake Torgrin, followed by Parliament Square, Hallgríms Church, Pearl Tower, and Harpa Concert Hall.

Attraction Introduction
| Blue Lagoon
The Blue Lagoon, located on the Reykjanes peninsula in southwestern Iceland, is one of Iceland's most famous tourist attractions and geothermal spas.

| Crater Lake Kerið
Kerið Crater Lake is located in the western volcanic region of Iceland and is one of the region's seven largest crater lakes. Formed approximately 6,500 years ago, it ranges in depth from 7 to 14 meters. While most crater lakes are surrounded by steep rock walls, this one has a relatively gentle rock face that allows visitors to approach the surface. The lake water is crystal clear, and its rich mineral content gives it vibrant colors that change with the light.

Seljalandsfoss
Seljalandsfoss is fed by glacial meltwater and, like the Seljalandsá River, originates from the Eyjafjallajökull glacier. The volcano buried beneath the glacier erupted dramatically in 2010, paralyzing European air traffic. The waterfall's long, narrow curtain of water cascades down towering, ancient sea cliffs that were once part of Iceland's coastline, gradually evolving into their present form over time and through geological changes.

| DC-3 plan aircraft debris
Located in southern Iceland, it is one of Iceland's largest and most magnificent waterfalls, with a width of 25 meters and a drop of 60 meters. The powerful flow of water is spectacular and attracts many tourists to witness its beauty.

The East Fjords, Iceland
Eastern Iceland boasts a diverse and picturesque landscape, featuring towering mountains, beautiful fjord coastlines, and rolling hills. It's a paradise for hikers. Icelanders, influenced by their natural environment, possess a primal love for nature. Ljósbjörg Petra María, from eastern Iceland, is passionate about the colorful minerals found in nature and has collected thousands of stone specimens throughout her life. These exquisite stones fill her living room and garden, attracting the attention of passing tourists. Petra generously invites people to visit, eventually leading to the creation of the Petra Stone Museum. Also featured here is the "Eggin i Gledivik," a collection of 34 granite bird egg artworks neatly arranged along the Merry Bay coastline, each egg representing a local bird species.

The Golden Circle
This refers to three major attractions in southwestern Iceland: the Old Parliament Site, Geysir, and Gullfoss. These three sites are very close to each other, and their magnificent scenery is unique to Iceland, making them world-renowned. The Old Parliament Site (open-air parliament) is the world's oldest democratic parliament site, located next to a long and wide fault line, the boundary between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates. Geysir is Iceland's largest natural geyser; when calm, it resembles a crystal ball, while when erupting, it spews plumes of smoke and smoke, reaching heights of over 30 meters, captivating visitors with its grandeur and beauty. Gullfoss is Iceland's second largest waterfall and one of its most beautiful. It is named "Golden Waterfall" not only because the river water itself has a slightly yellowish tint, but also because at dusk, the entire waterfall is bathed in the golden light of the setting sun, creating a precious, golden spectacle.

| Diamond Ice Beach Jökulsárlón
Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon was first formed around 1930. Starting in the 1930s, the lagoon has grown to over 20 square kilometers and is 200 meters deep, making it the second deepest lake in Iceland. Many films have been shot on location at Jökulsárlón, including *Tomb Raider*, *Batman Begins*, and two James Bond films, *Die Hard* and *The Man from Nowhere*. The massive icebergs on Vatnajökull Glacier continuously break off and melt, creating ice fragments that flow into Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and are washed ashore by the Atlantic Ocean onto the black sand beach opposite the glacier. These ice fragments have a certain degree of transparency, and under the sunlight, they shimmer and sparkle, creating a striking contrast with the black sand, like sparkling diamonds. Hence, it is known as Diamond Beach.

Reynisfjara Beach (Black Sand Beach)
It's a sandy beach formed from obsidian that cooled after a volcanic eruption and was then weathered. Because it's naturally black and translucent, the seawater remains crystal clear, shimmering with a golden glow in the sunlight. There are two entrances to the black sand beach. One is to drive to Vik and turn into Reynishverfisvegur, where you can see the entire black sand beach and a long row of basalt rocks.
