Itinerary
Day 1: Athens ‣ Peloponnese ‣ Zakynthos Island
In the morning, we will meet in Athens and depart for the Peloponnese , visiting the Corinth Canal, Palamidi Castle, and the town of Naprian. In the evening, we will depart from Killini Pier and take a boat to Zakynthos Island ( approximate boat departure times: 17:00-18:15 or 17:15-18:30, travel time approximately 75 minutes).
That evening, I checked into a hotel on Zakynthos Island.
Day 2: Zakynthos Island
After breakfast, we will visit Navagio Beach , a filming location for "Descendants of the Sun." Amidst steep cliffs, clear blue waters, and pristine white sand, lies a rusty old iron ship. In 1983, the Panagiotis, a ship smuggling cigarettes to and from Sicily, Italy, sank and ran aground here , hence the name "Shipwreck Beach."
In addition, you will take a boat to the Blue Grotto, a masterpiece of nature. The cliffs are formed by the sea erosion, creating a series of caves. Due to the refraction of light on the sea surface, the water inside the cave appears an incredible blue, as clear and pure as a sapphire, and is indescribably beautiful. The seawater is so clear that the seaweed, moss, and marine life such as sponges on the cave walls are clearly visible.
During your free time in the afternoon, you can also stroll around Solomos Square in Zakynthos town.
(Note: Following an assessment of landslides and seismic activity, the Greek government has decided to close Shipwreck Bay for safety reasons. It will not be open to tourists this summer, and it will be impossible to land on the beach. Nevertheless, we can still take a boat into the bay and take photos not far from the beach.)
If the weather is good, we will take a boat trip to the Blue Grotto and Shipwreck Beach; if the weather is bad and boat trips are not possible, we will instead visit attractions in Zakynthos town, or participate in other tours arranged by the guide based on the actual situation. Please listen to the guide's instructions on the day of the tour for specific details. Thank you for your understanding.
Day 3: Zakynthos Island ‣ Mycenae ‣ Athens
After breakfast, return by boat to Killini dock. Upon arrival, proceed to Mycenae , the name of the Mycenaean civilization, one of the greatest prehistoric civilizations in Greek history. The ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999, preserve the magnificent remains of a city that ruled the eastern Mediterranean from the 15th to the 12th centuries BC, playing a crucial role in the development of classical Greek culture. Visit the ancient city of Mycenae, a site of the Trojan War.
They then returned to Athens and checked into a hotel to rest.
Day 4: Athens ‣ Santorini
After breakfast, we will take a ferry from Piraeus Pier in Athens to Santorini (ferry service typically runs from 07:25 to 14:50, subject to change by the ferry company). Upon arrival in Santorini, we will travel to Oia to watch the sunset. The vast blue sky and ocean form a stunning backdrop, with clusters of white houses nestled against towering cliffs, silently witnessing every sunrise and sunset over the Aegean Sea.
Day 5: Santorini
Enjoy the stunning scenery of Santorini all day. The itinerary will be arranged according to the situation.
【 5-Hour Yacht Cruise with Meals 】Optional yacht cruise (at your own expense) passing red and white sand beaches, where no one can resist the coral reefs and crystal-clear waters. Visit the unique black rock formations naturally formed after a volcanic eruption, known locally as the "Indian Face." After passing the "Venetian Lighthouse," the yacht will sail to the natural hot springs of NEA KAMENI volcano and then stop in a calm bay for swimming, fishing, and dining. Onboard, in addition to sightseeing, enjoy free-flowing drinks and a local seafood barbecue feast, with dishes cooked on-board. Free snorkeling and fishing equipment are also available. Enjoy a lively atmosphere and magnificent scenery, fully immersing yourself in the Aegean Sea – a truly unforgettable experience. (In winter, if swimming is not possible, the itinerary will generally include a visit to a volcanic island.)
【 Perissa Beach 】Santorini's unique volcanic geology has created Kamari's distinctive black sand beach. Here, the sand is black, and the water is black too. The long stretch of black sand beach was gradually formed by the deposition of volcanic ash after the island's eruption, making it a popular resort beach on the east side of Santorini.
*Note: We recommend that you bring a towel and wear your swimsuit in advance, as there are no changing rooms on the ship; guests who cannot swim should stay on the ship to enjoy the scenery and not jump into the hot springs; please do not wear flip-flops as the volcanic rocks on the volcanic island are hot and uncomfortable to the touch; the temperature on the island is high and there are no shops, so please bring your own bottled water.
【 Active Volcano Nea Kameni 】On the same day, you can also join a local active volcano tour at your own expense. The tour includes a boat trip to the volcano, a visit to the smoking crater, and a chance to jump into the natural hot springs in the volcanic waters. The tour concludes with a return to the old port. Those who do not participate can enjoy free time in the town of Fira.
【 Fira 】 Enjoy your free time. You can stroll through Fira, where restaurants, bars, and various shops abound. You can walk to the blue-domed church, or choose a sun-drenched café to enjoy the sea breeze and the fairytale-like scenery.
That evening, I checked into the Santorini Hotel.
Day 6: Santorini to Athens
After breakfast, we will travel to the highest point on Santorini, home to the island's first monastery, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the island. Afterwards, we will visit the town of Pyrgos , which remained the capital of Santorini until the early 19th century. The town boasts numerous exquisite Byzantine buildings and magnificent churches. After lunch, we will prepare to board the cruise ship back to Athens. (The cruise schedule is generally Santorini → Piraeus pier 15:30-23:25 or Santorini → Rafina pier 14:15-20:20, subject to change by the ferry company. Your specific ferry schedule is subject to availability.)
Note: On the same day, you can choose to disembark in Santorini or return to Athens with the group. The disembarkation point in Athens is Piraeus Port, and the disembarkation time is based on the cruise ship's arrival time at the port.
* The round trip from Athens to Santorini is on a large, slow ship, which is less likely to cause seasickness. The journey takes about 8 hours. If you are concerned about the long journey, you can choose to leave the tour on Santorini and return by plane.
Day 7: Athens
Today is a full day of sightseeing in Athens. After breakfast, we will visit the Acropolis (which includes the Parthenon, Temple of Athena Nike, Theatre of Dionysus, and Erechtheion). Located in the southwest of Athens' city center, the Acropolis sits atop a steep hill over 150 meters high and is a landmark of the city and a symbol of ancient Greece. After lunch, we will tour Athens city center, including Syntagma Square, the Parliament Building, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and witness the Changing of the Guard ceremony.
Finally, you can explore the PLAKA Old Town at your leisure. This street is the most culturally and culturally rich ancient neighborhood in Athens, and the most vibrant place in the city.
Suggested departure time for the day: [13:00] - Constitution Square (McDonald's Ermou 2, Athina 10557)
Attraction Introduction
Acropolis of Athens
The Acropolis, a sacred site embodying the faith and glory of the Greek people, is the most outstanding ancient architectural complex in Greece and the center of religious and political life. Covering approximately 4 square kilometers, it sits atop the Acropolis hill in the heart of Athens. Construction began in 580 BC and consists of a series of temples, each with its own mythology and story.

Peloponnese
The Peloponnese boasts breathtaking landscapes, towns, and historical sites. Many stories from Greek history have unfolded here. Napriyan, a port town on the Peloponnese peninsula, was the former capital of Greece and was once known as the "Naples of the Eastern Roman Empire." The Bernamidian Citadel, perched atop a hill in the old town, was built by the Venetians in the 18th century. From 1829 to 1834, Napriyan was the first capital of modern Greece and a historically important military stronghold.

Shipwreck Bay
Zakynthos Island, located on the Greek Mediterranean coast, boasts Shipwreck Beach, often called one of the world's most beautiful coastlines. It was a filming location for the drama "Descendants of the Sun." The beach derives its name from the 1983 sinking of the smuggling ship Panagiotis while transporting cigarettes. Steep cliffs and crystal-clear blue waters, along with the expansive beaches where fine white sand reflects the sunlight, create a breathtaking scene. Nearby is the "Blue Grotto," famous for the perfect interplay of sunlight and rocks.

Mycenae
Mycenae is an Aegean city located on the Argos Plain in northeastern Peloponnese, between Corinth and Argos. It was the capital of the Achaeans in Homeric epics, founded by Perseus and ruled by Agamemnon during the Trojan War. This city, once considered purely legendary, was rediscovered in the 19th century by the legendary German archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann. Indeed, during the second millennium BC, it was one of the most important cities of Greek civilization, dominating a vast area in the southern Aegean, representing the Mycenaean civilization.

| Santorini Oia ( OIA ) town
Oia, perched on a cliff overlooking the sea, is the second largest town on Santorini and is considered one of the most beautiful places in the world to watch the sunset. Every day, thousands of tourists from all over the world gather here to enjoy the afterglow of the sunset. At the moment the sun dips below the horizon, time seems to stand still. The town suddenly becomes peaceful and serene. A smile appears on everyone's face as they quietly bid farewell to the last rays of the setting sun. Everyone is captivated by this breathtaking scenery, and they can't help but applaud, overwhelmed by the beauty of nature.

| Fira, Santorini
Fira (also known as Thira) is the capital of Santorini, a Greek island in the Aegean Sea. It's a traditionally inhabited town with convenient transportation and numerous hotels. Direct buses connect it to Oia, the black and red sand beaches, making it a major transit hub for Santorini's public transport system. During the peak season in July, August, and September, it's packed with tourists, many of whom are newlyweds on their honeymoons – incredibly romantic! The town is small and perfect for leisurely exploration on foot. Its alleyways are cleverly laid out, crisscrossing and winding. These alleys are filled with small shops selling traditional clothing, handicrafts, and gold and silver jewelry, as well as numerous family-run restaurants and cafes.
