Itinerary

Specific itinerary

D1: Helsinki → Tallinn

Meet at Helsinki Pier at 9:30 AM and board the ferry to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Alternatively, you can wait for your group's arrival in Tallinn. Tallinn is one of Europe's best-preserved medieval cities, boasting striking towers and turrets, historic fortress walls, and stunning Gothic architecture. Visit Town Hall Square, Toumbia Castle, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Estonia Gate, and St. Nicholas Church. Overnight at a hotel in Tallinn or its surrounding areas.

Meeting point 1: Helsinki West Terminal 2 (Tyynenmerenkatu 14, 00220 Helsinki, Finland)
Boarding time: 09:30

Boarding location 2: Tallinn Pier, Estonia Boarding time: 12:30

Tallinn Old Town - Heidal Stave Church is a three-story wooden building built in the early 13th century. It is the largest stave church in Norway and a masterpiece of medieval architecture. It is still used by the Notodden district church in Telemark. Ancient Germanic letters are engraved on the walls of the exterior passage, indicating that the church was dedicated to the Virgin Mary.

D2: Tallinn → Pärnu → Cesis → Sigulda

After breakfast, we'll depart for Pärnu, Estonia's summer capital. Pärnu is a renowned summer destination in Estonia, boasting some of the most beautiful beaches on the Baltic Sea. After visiting the Old Town, the Red Tower, and the Church of Elizabeth, we'll begin our beach tour of Pärnu, Estonia's summer capital, and experience some of Northern Europe's most beautiful beaches. We'll then travel to Cēsis, one of Latvia's most beautiful ancient towns, where we'll visit Cēsis Castle and stroll through the old town. Afterwards, we'll check into our hotel in Sigulda.

Pärnu - Estonia's Summer Capital. From Pärnu, Estonia's summer capital, you can admire the enchanting Pärnu Bay, with its warm waters and soft sandy beaches, making it a truly picturesque holiday destination. As Estonia's fourth-largest city, Pärnu boasts beautiful parks, tranquil boulevards, warm and relaxing beaches, and a variety of recreational opportunities. Pärnu's spa hotels offer a comprehensive range of wellness services, including mud therapy, various massages, thermal baths, laser therapy, and wax treatments.

D3: Sigulda → Vilnius

After breakfast, depart from your hotel for the west coast port city of Bergen. Nestled on the turquoise bay and directly connected to the Atlantic Ocean, this picturesque harbor city is a delight. The Fløyen Cableway in eastern Bergen takes visitors to the summit of Mount Fløyen, 320 meters above sea level, in just five to eight minutes, offering a thrilling ride. Afterward, visit Bryggen, a precious relic of Nordic wooden architecture, and finally the bustling Seaside Fish Market, nestled along the bay. Overnight in Bergen or a nearby hotel.

Vilnius Cathedral - Located at the foot of Gediminas Hill, Vilnius Cathedral and its 57-meter-tall bell tower dominate the expansive Church Square. Built between 1387 and 1388, the cathedral is the first Gothic wooden church and has undergone numerous restorations. The Baroque-style Chapel of St. Casimir houses frescoes depicting the life of this Lithuanian saint and his silver coffin.

D4: Vilnius → Trakai → Kaunas

After breakfast, we'll drive to Trakai, the old capital of Lithuania. Home to Eastern Europe's only castle built on an island, Trakai Castle, built in 1409 on an island in Lake Garva, is the only remaining of Lithuania's many ancient castles. After lunch, we'll depart for Kaunas, Lithuania's second-largest city, for a city tour, including Kaunas Castle and the Cathedral of the Resurrection. Overnight at a hotel in Kaunas or nearby.

Trakai Castle - The most famous attraction in the small Lithuanian city of Trakai. Built in 1409, it's the only water castle in the Baltic region. Constructed of orange-red brick, it's surrounded by medieval-style conical watchtowers and a moat. Standing tall over the water in the sunset, the castle creates a dreamlike beauty.

D5: Kaunas → Šiauliai → Rundale Palace → Riga

After breakfast, we'll drive to Rundal, passing the Šiauliai Hill of Crosses and marvel at the solemn atmosphere of hundreds of thousands of crosses, large and small. We'll then visit Rundal Palace, the largest and most magnificent palace in the Baltic region. Known as the "Little Versailles" and the "Little Winter Palace," Rundal Palace is another exquisite creation by the architect of the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg. Built as a summer residence for the Grand Dukes of Courland, it exemplifies Latvia's Baroque and Rococo styles, and is truly a dazzling jewel in the region. We'll then check into our hotel in Riga, the capital of Latvia.

Hill of Crosses - One of Lithuania's most stunning and awe-inspiring sights is the Hill of Crosses (Siauliai Hill of Crosses). Thousands of crosses adorn the two camel-like hills. Each cross represents an indomitable spirit, a noble soul, and a nation's quiet struggle. Since the 14th century, people have placed crosses here, some for prayer and others for commemoration.

D6: Riga

After breakfast, we'll explore Riga, the largest city in the three Baltic states and known as the Little Paris of the East. Stroll through the old city and visit medieval architecture such as St. Peter's Basilica, the House of the Three Brothers, and the Dome Cathedral.

Departure location: Riga
Departure time: 14:00

The Three Brothers' House - Located behind the Cathedral Square, the Three Brothers' House exemplifies the diverse architectural styles of Riga's Old Town. These three buildings represent different architectural styles from different periods of the Middle Ages and are the city's best-preserved stone buildings. They demonstrate how the people of Riga made use of their limited land. The name "Three Brothers' House" echoes the Three Sisters House in Tallinn, Estonia. It is now open to the public as the Riga Art Museum.

D7: Riga → Tallinn → Helsinki

In the morning, we will depart for Tallinn and take a cruise back to Helsinki, where the trip ends.
