Starting from Bern, we drive into the heart of the Alps. Between lakes and snow-capped peaks lie rolling green slopes dotted with log cabins; morning mist swirls, sunlight filters through, and the sound of cowbells echoes through the valleys—this is the most captivating scenery in Grindelwald. After leaving Bern, we headed south into the Valais region, heading towards the high-altitude resorts deep in the Alps. Upon arrival in Tash, we transferred to a train to a car-free town, officially beginning our journey surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
