Attraction Introduction

Also known as the Lava Falls, Hraunfossar is located in West Iceland, formed by streams flowing along the edge of the Hallmundarhraun lava field before converging into a glacial river. Barnafoss (Children's Falls) is a 5-10 minute walk along the banks of Hraunfossar. With various rock formations, the two waterfalls form one of Iceland's largest waterfall complexes.
