A cathedral dedicated to St Paul has stood on this site since AD 604. After the Great Fire of London in the 17th century, Sir Christopher Wren rebuilt it in its present form. St Paul's Cathedral has dominated London's skyline for 300 years and has witnessed many historic events, including the wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles. It is also the resting place of many historical figures, including Lord Admiral Nelson and Sir Christopher Wren.
As you stand under the 365-meter-high dome, with the entire building laid out in the shape of a cross, you will be awestruck by this amazing engineering and architectural feat. St Paul's Cathedral stands out in the City of London with its unique architectural style and instantly recognizable dome.
