Home to the world's largest prehistoric stone circle, with villages built directly within the stone circle, this unique and breathtaking place offers opportunities for leisurely strolls or light meals at local pubs.
Afterwards, we will visit the quaint village of Lacock, a well-preserved medieval stone town that has been the filming location for many movies and TV shows, most notably Harry Potter. The cloisters of Lacock Abbey are like stepping into Hogwarts.
Arrive in elegant Bath in the afternoon and enjoy free time to explore this ancient city renowned for its Georgian architecture and Roman Baths. Stroll along the Royal Crescent and Pulteney Bridge, or visit the Roman Baths (at your own expense) to soak in the city's classical atmosphere. Return to London in the evening, concluding a fulfilling day trip.
Bath
|
This city has been inhabited for approximately 2,000 years and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. Famous for its Georgian architecture, Roman spas, and Bath Cathedral, it is the second most visited tourist destination in the UK after London. Bath is also considered one of the most romantic cities in England; Jane Austen wrote her world-renowned novel, *Pride and Prejudice*, here. It's a charming city well worth exploring, so we'll give you ample time to stroll through its streets. |

| Lacoq Village
|
You will venture into the village of Lacock, near Wiltshire, where winding lanes, a mix of wood and stone architecture, and distinctive slate roofs give the town a charmingly quaint feel. Almost all the buildings date back to before the 18th century, creating a sense of stepping back in time as you wander through the streets and alleys. The town's antique atmosphere has also made it a filming location for classic films such as *Pride and Prejudice* and *Harry Potter*. Some scenes from *Harry Potter* were filmed at the town's ancient and beautiful monastery. |

| Avebury Standing Stone Circle
|
Avebury Stonehenge is the second most famous and largest ancient stone circle in Britain after Stonehenge. The difference is that at Avebury you can walk among these megaliths and touch them, and then have a drink at a nearby pub overlooking the site. |
