Westminster Abbey Westminster Abbey

Westminster Abbey is one of the most famous buildings in London, formerly known as St. Peter's Collegiate Church in Westminster. It is located in Parliament Square, next to the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. This large Gothic abbey church is a traditional coronation ceremony site and the resting place of 17 British monarchs and eight former prime ministers. Westminster Abbey provides daily religious services for all and is over a thousand years old and is listed as a World Heritage Site. Whether it's its majestic architecture or important historical status, Westminster Abbey is an integral part of London.
