You can reach the palace by walking through the beautiful landscaped gardens and then entering the lavish King's and Queen's State Apartments through the entrance hall. Here you can immerse yourself in the remarkable architecture and magnificent furnishings that have housed royalty for centuries. Kensington Palace was designed by Sir Christopher Wren, the architect behind St Paul's Cathedral.   • Opening hours: Wednesday to Sunday: 10:00 - 18:00 (last admission: 17:00). Closed annually from December 24 to 26.
