Visit Buckingham Palace - one of the only remaining working royal palaces in the world today! This iconic and beautiful royal palace is both the office and administrative headquarters of the Royal Family.
The State Rooms form the heart of the working palace, with 19 sumptuous rooms displaying some of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection, including paintings by Rembrandt and Rubens, some of the finest English and French furniture and exquisite Sèvres porcelain.
During your visit to Buckingham Palace you will pass through the Throne Room, which has been the site of many historic events, including spectacular balls during Queen Victoria's reign and investiture ceremonies by King George V. Today, the room is used for a variety of purposes, both public and private. The Banqueting Room is the largest and most magnificent of the State Rooms. Completed in 1855, the room was presided over by Queen Victoria and is now used for formal occasions such as state banquets.
The gardens are also a highlight of Buckingham Palace. Described as a green walled oasis in the heart of London, this stunning expanse of gardens is home to 30 different bird species and 350 different wildflowers. Your tour ends with a stroll through the south side of the gardens, with views of the palace and idyllic lake.
Buckingham Palace + Royal Mews Ticket
Combine a visit to the Royal Mews with your Buckingham Palace ticket to make your visit to Buckingham Palace even more special! There, you can admire the beautiful State Coaches, famous carriages that are used for coronations, state visits, royal weddings, the State Opening of Parliament, and other formal events. You can witness amazing vehicles like the Gold State Coach, which has been used at every coronation since George IV! It was also the coach of choice for the Queen's Golden Jubilee in 2002. Another highlight you're likely to see is the Diamond Jubilee State Coach, the latest addition to the Royal Mews. Built to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in 2012, this stunning coach combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology.
