A popular natural wonder on the south coast of England. A broad hillside suddenly appears to have been split open by a giant axe, revealing white cliffs tens, or even hundreds, of meters high, beneath which lies an endless blue sea. The scene is dreamlike! Along the coasts of southern England, there are more or less chains of such white cliff landscapes. It is said that when viewed from continental Europe, the white cliffs are the most conspicuous feature of England and are therefore considered a symbol of the country.
