Attraction Introduction

Whistler, located in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, about 120 kilometers from Vancouver, is one of North America's premier mountain resorts. It was a venue for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics ski events and boasts world-class ski facilities. With skiing in winter, mountain hiking and biking in summer, and boutique shops and restaurants in the village, there's something exciting to experience in every season.

Travel Tips

• For skiing in winter, it is recommended to book ski tickets in advance, especially during Christmas and New Year when availability is very limited.

• Mountain lodges and holiday apartments need to be booked several months in advance.

• Whistler Village is walkable; it is recommended to park your car in a public parking lot.

• From Vancouver, you can take a bus or drive; the journey takes approximately two hours.
