Attraction Introduction
Kalamalka Lake, also known as "Changeable Lake," is located in the south-central interior plateau of British Columbia, Canada. Throughout the year, the lake's color changes from turquoise to a tranquil blue, and at different times, it displays multiple colors simultaneously in various areas, earning it the moniker "Lake of a Thousand Colors." This unique natural phenomenon is formed by changes in the precipitation of calcium carbonate and phosphorus in the water, making it one of the world's most unique colorful lakes.
